A single donkament, most definitely. If you play enough volume, and that means several thousands of donkaments at the same stake per year, it starts to be predominantly about skill. But I would not wish that even to my worst enemy.

Haters gonna hate.

He should have come clean and admitted everything instead.

wasn't there someone on this very forum who complained about trying to revert his account to his name from his dad's, and then they confiscated all his money and sent it to an underage gambling charity?

definitely not the course i would suggest ;)

Wouldn't one be better off creating their own account when of age and having Dad transfer funds to them?

So.... instead of actually doing any research into this, I'll just ask this here: What ever came of this? Did PS release any 'official' statement on this? Was there a resolution, or is this still pending?

I have not read any such thing if it exsists, but put yourself in Stars shoes, you just advertised then ran a huge tourney. promoted it all added a Lambo and then this happens. My guess is it will be dealt with with as little fanfare as possible. The resolution is that the kid broke the rules and gets no cash, sucks for him good for everyone else cashing.

Actually there's a link in here or on Face Book but More or less has to do with a Reporter Going to the actual Kids house or so I read, don't really recall to much of the story though...

Bottom line Kid broke the rules and deserves to be punished, does suck to be him though

OMG - what a dumb*** to brag about it online.

Hopefully he'll learn something and be a little wiser.

LOL - what a price to learn that lesson!

I would have to read all the fine print and dont feel like it, but I am pretty sure Poker Stars - and all other sites as well - state in their TOS that all decisions they make are final and incontestable when it comes to TOS and disputes, so a lawyer wont help. They will say "We have decided" and they will be right.

Feel free to correct me, I dont want to read all the TOS. But there IS something to this effect in most, if not all, poker site TOS.

there was a very interesting argument in law class last year. IT sort of refers to this, involving the use of permission slips. It was about people under the age of majority (18) signing to go on trips with the school. IN the event of injury the shcool declined responsibility. However, since the people are underage the contract is void and they still could sue the school.

This could apply here as he agreed to the terms and conditions while he was still under the age of majority

lol sucks to be him basically. But it's his own fault.

I highly doubt he'll ever see any of the money. If a minor won a jackpot in a b&m casino, there's zero chance he'd be allowed to keep a dime.

Stars will likely redistribute his "winnings" to those who cashed, using the same % payout schedule.

LOL @ the assumptions here.. this ^ is great stuff! Way too funny. Apparently he badbeat someone.. then someone told on him ha ha ha.

Try reading through the thread from the start & perhaps you'll find the answers.
