The huge poker site freerolls aren't even any good for learning. They all play like idiots at the start at least.

You'll find the best freerolls in the forums...and there are a lot of them. You'll be playing against a better player in a smaller field and may learn something

The PS $80,000 freeroll is truly a wink and you missed it. Even worse I get all set up and ready a 1/2 hour before and wander away and then realize it's 1314.

Has anyone won anything in the $80,000 tournament itself?

I have played quite a few of these PS freerolls....they take sooooo long and the players are sooooo slow!!! I agree with rrexpress - far too many idiots to work your way through.......

My experience has been...you have less than one minute from the time the freeroll opens, to the time it is filled up........

I got in today, but left my computer to go get food and for some reason it booted me from the tourney... I left PS open and everything. Does anyone know what happened?

your right about blinking and missing it. i registered and had to wait for confirmation, it came back tournament already full.
this was all within seconds and i registered right when it opened.

Well I gave it a bash. watched their time in the tourney lobby and had my mouse ready and aimed when it said 1 min to registration and I got in. Within the first 20 min 5000 of the 10 000 players were gone....and then 10 min later so was I with my AK soooooooted! But it was a circus and all ins almost every hand...

What about those Sunday Warmup Tourney or Million dollar Tourney?
It's can take a way longer then this freeroll.
Whenever you win a tickets here you can play 125k Guarantee so is that not good enough?

I like the Eighty freeroll once in awhile because it helps me with my aggressiveness. It also helps me work out high dollar pot amount betting..

Currently 48/197 in today's with over $100K in chips.

EDIT: now 6/114 with over $400K...

I've played this quite a few times and managed to get 12th and it only lasted about 4 hours....and also i turned my $5.50 into $60 in a matter of days so yeah it was worth it!

OMG..Frustratin examplified there.. i tried to register & same issue..its fills soo fast ..i dont know if its worth it..the PLANEt freerolls are just as donkish but the prizes arent even close if you kicked butt in the 2nd round..so its frustrating..Best of LUck every1 that can get reg'd 4 it
