Recently my pokerstars software has decided to crash every time I want to open a new table, whether it be a tournament or cash game table. I can log in and get to the cashier just fine but whenever I try to open a table it crashes and I get the 'The application PokerStars quit unexpectedly' message. I have updated to the newest PS client and my OS is up to date as well. I've also tried reinstalling, with no success. Has anyone else encountered this? Does anyone have any ideas how to fix it? I've contacted PS but they gave me some bad advice and since they seem to have forgotten about me. I can post the error report or my log files if needed. Thanks.

Running OSX V. 10.5.8

That's weird! I've got an old G4, operating on the old OS, and I've got a new laptop with the new OS and I've never had any trouble with either system running Pokerstars.

I had a similar problem years ago with some bad RAM and almost never figured out the problem. Every time I opened multiple files the program would crash. The RAM checked out fine when I ran a system check, but when I removed it and had it checked at a computer store it was bad. Everything operated fine until the computer needed to use that RAM chip; when it hit the bad RAM the program would crash. I replaced the RAM and and it's worked fine ever since.

This may not be your problem, especially if only Pokerstars is crashing, but it's worth a look.
