Another lottery with a high rake, while the novelty and abundance of fish can be played but still high rake!!!

I played one, thought it was horrible.... Tournaments that are superfast and over quick with huge rake. Hmmmm someone there is working hard to get the most profit / hour on that site.

Not Interested.
I don't want beattheclocks, spingos or bingos.
I just want a poker site to play poker on.

I understand your reaction very well. Lots of these promotions seem to encourage players to gamble more. I was already thinking about starting a thread about this. Now I'm sure of it. GL with playing 'normal' poker! ;)

I might do it again, when the Poker Cash Giveaway tickets give it that bonus, and being in the big freeroll the next day (whether you're logged in or not) is also a plus, but I won't do it with the expectation of winning large or at all in fact. Interesting promotion, and comment that the rake is large.

Maybe if I only have a half hour to kill I'd do it again too, who knows. But I don't recommend it highly or at all, really. At least it's only a buck.

These kind of tournaments seem to be more interesting than simple time tournaments. However, the dispersion is very high and you can't treat them serious. But yeah , I will play them just for fun after a tournament session.

I played three more today again, because I had a half hour to spare. I played a little tighter and won $4.14 in one of the tournaments. So while I wouldn't call it a lottery, it moves really fast, the blinds and ante get high quickly, and there's no point in limping into the money after five minutes because prize money is spread proportionate to the number of chips. If you're not going to finish with much of a stack there's little point in finishing at all in my view. Like I said before, to make anything on this tourney you need to double up early.

I not long ago tried to play in these tournaments. I like fast games. But I'm afraid it's bad for me a drug  . Who refused to participate there. I not escaped this needle. I keep all of the forces :banghead:

I never read my e-mails and dont take much notice on the news on the client, but these promos give us something different to do.

Good luck to everyone giving it a go.

fun games but i prefer spin & go ... i don't think these are too profitable in the long run. variance is too high and payouts not so great

You end up being forced to bluff, anyway it's more of a gaming option.

At first when I saw the 10K all in shootout challenge for the ones playing the Beat the clock SNGs I thought '' WOW , they are spending money from their pocket to promote this new game " .
I am kinda naive . At first when the promotion started it was only the 1$ and the 3$ sngs , later they were added first the 5$ (Later the 3$ disappeared !) and after they saw it had success the 10$ sngs and the 25$ !!!! Are they going to add a more expensive for higher rake ? I wonder :)
I had used simple methods , so I might have made mistakes , but what matters is they win thousands of $$$$ ,the 10$,25$ have not been included!!!!so it was about when the 3$ was :
16:00-17:00 EET= about 3.000$ from 1$, ,5$ sng
17:00-18:00 EET= about 5.500$ from 1$,3$,5$ sng
18:00-19:00 EET= about 5.000$ from 1$,3$,5$ sng
19:00-20:00 EET= about 5.000$ from 1$,3$,5$ sng
20:00-21:00 EET= about 4.400$ from 1$,3$, sng
21:00-22:00 EET= about 5.500$ from 1$,3$,5$ sng
22:00-23:00 EET= about 5.500$ from 1$,3$,5$ sng
23:00-00:00 EET= about 5.600$ from 1$,3$,5$ sng
02:00-03:00 EET= about 2.100$ from 1$,3$, sng
07:00-08:00 EET= about 1.200$ from 1$,3$, sng etc etc etc

Now they don't have the 3$ , they have the 10 $ +25$ sng () to earn more rake . They change it all the time :( Bored to make again calculations:( So, now it sould be more for the same hours ! They are not suckers .
That's a lot of money !

The money they are winning through rake is enough to keep this promotion 10K shootout going for ever :)

1$players:15th(0$-0.9$),10th(1.5$-2,75$),5th(3$-4.85$),2nd(3$-9$),1st(5.5$-9,5/12$)

I guess you should be really be good at it ( zoom kind hyper speed ) to play it cause the top 5 of the 48 get decent payment and the top two the lion's share !!

All this reminds me of sth similar 888poker has

Breakfast has only 1$ version , has 6 players it's a zoom,snap tourney , unlimited rebuys , 5 sec time bank :)D) , it stats once the break begins ( xx:55 every hour ) /min players 11 , it ends after 6 min .

You start with 30BB or 18.7M .
The first two blind levels the blinds are doubled each one , so if the stack is kept the same we''ll have on the second for ex :15BB 9M (half blinds, half rounds) , 6 first are getting paid most of the time (~4,5,7,9,14,23$)

Beat The Clock has 1$ and 5$, 10$ and 25$ versions , has 4 players , it's also a zoom tourney , it has no rebuys , no time bank , it starts when 48 playrs register , it ends after 5 minutes .
You start with 12,5BB or 7M . No blind leel is doubled , all raises are normal , so if the stack is kept the same we'll have on the seond blind for ex : 10BB 5.88M .

A difference I guess is at Breakfast , at the end the players go all in , at Beat the clock the play just is ceased and the money is shared according to chips stacks .

I just mention the similarities :D

---------------------

Good luck

to all CardChatters guys who continue with the challenge until 4 of December !!!:)

Beat the clock is a tough game to play. I tried it once. A lot of adrenaline. I may try it once again in the future.

Its like a bingo, very fast and many shoves with rags, any ace here is big hand, I dont like it at all. Play only for ticket $10.000 All-in Shootout. And won in $10.000 All-in Shootout is 0$, play 12 times...
