It's a lot more worthwhile than playing just freerolls. Obviously depositing more would be more beneficial but if it's money he's tight on or whatever then the bonus will at least help. Also (not 100% on this) the bonus is for three deposits within a certain time frame so if he finds he's doing well he can deposit more and get a larger bonus.

on stars it was for 3 deposits over 6 months (not sure on current rules) but if he is not committing more funds where is that extra money coming from ? Withdrawals remove bonuses so he can't withdraw winnings to redeposit . hence the stupid to do it on a site UNLESS its at a site he's not going to play again.

If we are talking about freerols solely and you're not a member of Cardschat Freeroll Club then a good choice is Weekly Round 2. Yes, first you have to qualify there but it worth it. Other than that it's kinda hard to build a solid bankroll

It all depends on your skill , if freerolls hard to play and you can not win with bad players , where 75% players play any two... That's how you play real tournaments where you have to be able to think..

Most obvious answer would be:
- get a job
- deposit 50$
- then use promos to increase it
- dont spent it in some stupid tilt

With first deposit, you will get so much promo, that you would have to play months of pokerstars freerolls to get the same.

Like 888poker - very nice freerolls now -> depositos only.
FTP -> nice 5 tickets with 30$ deposit.
Even PS I think gives like 20$ worth of ticket with first deposit (with some promo codes).

For quick freeroll tournaments with many players is very difficult and needs a lot of luck. There's one game freeroll owned fewer people and gradually can be made smaller bankroll. I do this thing. A best cc freeroll.
