Hopefully you get your account back. Not many things can replace an active pokerstars account.

well you should be playing on at least 1 other site to get your fix- you're not American so...
and the sites do have their rules
but really it is not a case of colluding/cheating
you've been there a long time, WhoTheFk is going to cheat and make a new acct just to get a reentry in a non reentry game at stars, theres just soooo many games, ffs reenter another
if your friend is actually real and made an acct, it should work itself out
p.s. theres many links at the top of CCs main page to get you playing elsewhere
p.s.s. for being so addicted I dont know why you dont have more accts elsewhere, doesnt everyone??

I was told i was banned for 3 months and i freaked out because winning into live games is what i live for , and then now that i am medicated , depressed and angry as hell that they do this to me , i sent them a response telling them how angry depressed and medicated i was because of 2 weeks with no pokerstars and they then said that due to my depression they advise i dont play poker and i am no longer welcome at pokerstars or full tilt for life !

You pretty much asked for that. You spammed their email and essentially threatened to hurt yourself if they didn't give you your account back. Any company would be insane to continue to associate with you after that. It sucks, and it's very unfortunate that you were banned to begin with, but when you're dealing with a company that a) has your money and b) has the right to ban anyone for any reason, you should probably try to be as civil as possible with them.

They tried to be reasonable and give you three months, but you asked for more when you admitted to being addicted and bringing up liability issues.

Personally, given the situation, I'd have a hard time giving you benefit of the doubt without proof that you both live at the address (if I'm reading this correctly, your friend couldn't prove this because he was travelling). Three months may have been a little extreme if your history with them is as robust as you claim, but regardless, it was you that escalated it farther than it needed to go in the first place.

Good luck in the future, and get your addiction in check.

I wonder how many Americans "self harmed" after Black Friday?

Seriously though, from what I understand, you have been banned for life? If this is correct then it may be to no avail but in future correspondence be polite, courteous, and non-threatening (to them or yourself). As they say: you can get more flies with honey than you can with sh*t.

If it were me, I would let a couple weeks go by and re-contact them requesting to open a dialog with someone on the issue. If they responded positively I would first apologize for previous contacts and inform them that because you hadn't indeed done anything wrong, their action affected you in such a way that you obviously weren't thinking clearly.
I would then ask that they review your entire history with Pokerstars and let that history have some credence in their decision. It would also help to mention that PS is the only site that you patronize and that you feel it is the best site on the internet. Mention to them that this type thing has never happened before and that the likelihood of this instance being one that would precipitate such behavior is highly unlikely.
In closing, reiterate your apology for prior behavior and ask that they forgive you for your lapse in judgment and sign it "thank you in advance for your consideration".

Hope this helps and good luck to you!

the issue will get resolved I guarantee it, they want you to play its not like they don't want you to spend money lol. But that was pretty dumb atleast go into a different tourney. That is fishy on your part lol. But for some reason I do believe you because you wouldn't care so much to post it here.

Lmao. If I wasn't on my phone I could probably link to over a dozen posts of people who's first and sometimes only posts are them complaining about a site backing and confiscating their account for cheating or colluding and them screaming innocence...

If I understand right you got a 3 month ban. Dude, just take it and move on. You're very lucky they didn't ban you forever. If you keep pushing the issue, you may be setting yourself up for a bigger hit.

Agreed.

And after reading through the whole thing, the problem was not that your friend registered and played through your IP, but that they don't believe that it was the friend, but that it was OP. I have heard multiple times over the years of people doing the same and just making an account with a friend's name and address so that they could verify later if they had to by having the friend contact them etc.

You most likely made matters worse by constantly flooding them with emails. The guilty are going to try to over-prove their alibi whereas someone who is in the clear will most likely make their statement and be ok with that because they know it's the truth and there is nothing more to add.

Not true at all, if someone/something accuses me of being guilty when I was innocent, I get more angry than if they accuse me of being guilty and I'm lying -- kind of a tell on my part.

OP tho maybe you should stop poker if you are depressed if not playing it -- find another hobby, job, people, and come back to poker eventually but you need to be able to have a life without it.

Ofcourse that was gonna happen ? You must not have read the rule book before playing poker online you gotta read the fine line.
After some time they should let you play again your friend should advocate more for you both it's tough cuz they can't verify important information I'n physical presence butt yet they wanna be quik to penalize
