pokerstars awarded me with a tournament ticket but no such tournament exists. Is there any way I could exchange the ticket for a valid tournament?

You may need to contact PokerStars support to find out how you can use this. Did you happen to try a search for the tournament itself? see if there are any satellites from there, maybe?!
