My computer struggles to do anything with Aurora forced on. You tube videos will stutter and freeze.

Luckily I found a Chrome extension called Audio Only You Tube which will allow me to listen to the video in audio only mode which relieves the GPU and allows me to hear the audio without breaking up.

It sucks that pokerstars has decided for me that my computer should focus on nothing other than PokerStars.

I have the same problem, and pokerstars decided everything for their players, and automatically transferred all participants to the Aurora engine, my casino often freezes and I have to log out and log in again

The Aurora engine requires a powerful computer, and not everyone has it.

yes this is a big problem for many, but maybe we will win more at poker and buy more powerful computers, especially for pokerstars))):elefant::elefant::elefant:

Судя по всему, один из стримеров, который входит в команду Stars (внутренняя психика), смог отключить Aurora Graphics. (Я не знаю, как это сделать, и еще не пробовал)

They did a big crap with this Aurora garbage, just like 888 did when they deleted the old tables appearance.

I dont know why, but the poker sites seem to start having a bad habit, they tend to fkk up all good parts in their software and replace them with garbage.

And the numbers are much more visible than on the Aurora garbage.

Is it teue this? Obly can be a safety change to ps do such poor graphs and do not allow the players to undo their awful changes.

Some of the comments are saying it's true, some are saying it's not. The first comment to it said they have a right to suspend him as he has violated their terms of service.

I hope it's not true, but for now I won't delete it.

I did exactly what was suggested (deleting all the files in the folder specified), and it worked for me. I was able to run 3 tables on Zoom at a time (I could barely run 2 on Aurora Graphics - I have an Intel i5 Dual Core, so probably pretty quite a relic relative to more current technology).

Anyway, I'm happy it's working for the time being.

yep still working but probably just short term solution, a lot of people complain about the aurora engine however, I don't expect stars to do anything about that, they just do not listen to the community.

Is this true for everyone else now too?

The gall of them to suggest that this is an improvement and that they are doing it for my increased enjoyment. What a fk'n ridiculous bunch of crap!
Now if GGPoker could work on improving upon their tournament schedule & partypoker continues to grow, here's hoping this stuff on Stars won't even matter to any of us one day not too far off in the future :dancing2::dancing2::dancing2:

I am certain they will be reading the comments posted there as well as continuously monitoring the thread about how Aurora Graphics has affected you.

Everything is accelerating. New versions of Skype are also bad or do not work at all on older PCs. So you need to buy more powerful PCs, because software manufacturers do not care about our problems. They strive to offer a better environment to use.

At least for Slype you have a solution. Use https://web.skype.com/ from a Chrome Browser

The workaround has been patched, now is the time to play around with all the settings and themes to try and find yourself the most smoothest of experience.

yes, it doesn't work anymore. I switched to carbon theme ( aurora settings - LOW ofc ), it's still a bit laggy but i can play 6-7 tables ( the lap top freeze sometimes but works ). At least, buttons works fine. Depends on your monitor, if you resize the tables too much you can have a problem because everything is too small, unfortunately, we can't do anything more..:frown:

Yep, and Run it once poker will be there soon, they just launched some sng's / spins.

I am playing on the old engine without Aurora and am not experiencing any problems. Instructions for downgrading to an older version can be found on google

I was able to delete those files manually as it'd been before, I never launch PS through PokerstarsUpdate.exe, always through Pokerstars.exe, until the client says the update is required.

I tried the Pokerstars.exe launch but it did not work for me. Will root around for some other hacks as I almost cannot be bothered to play on PS under these conditions. It is an absurd situation.

Yeah, the key was always to launch Pokerstars.exe, if you've already updated the client to the current version, launching the different file won't help.

Haven't been on pokerstars in a while, so can't tell you. I'm off work tomorrow so I will update it and reply back if I have any issues. What is the issue you are facing?
