Looking on sharkscope 23'700+ players have played the $1 Buy-In in August, so I'm thinking some people on here will play it regularly/have experience of it. It seems like fast-paced fun compared to other modes and I'd be interested to hear people's thoughts on it and on any of these questions I'm curious about.

How would someone improve at this format?
With Rake between 5-8%, how beatable is this game (what ROIs are possible)?
