Hey, Nick,

Not to parse my own words, but I didn't say that you had to deposit to get to bronze - just that if you do deposit, you get to Bronze without seeing a flop. I can't say I was able to build a bankroll just from my freeroll winnings at PS - I think I won like $0.13 the first time. And you would need some bankroll to play a hand with a $0.40 flop - not going to get there on a $.01/.02 table. But after I deposited for their bonus, I was bronze right away.

you can sit at a micro limit table with 13 cents afaik

eitherway everyone is bronze when they play a real money hand

bronze star and silver star (and gold star as far as i am concerned) are all one step away from useless

i am sure saving alot of fpps now though haha

NP. I was only claifying that a deposit is not required, either, to be a bronze star. I've built my PS BR from -0- without ever depositing and have a withdrawable balance now. If I recall, $.20 is the minimum required to join a .01/.02 ring. I never really tried since I just left my winning accumulate until I had something worthwhile to work with.

You're right though, you can't get to a $.40 rake on a .01/.02 table, and that also means no FPP's on a .02 table, but does get players the bronze star (whoopee ...:D ) which I have turned off ... :D

Effective March 1, 2009, PokerStars is implementing changes to its popular VIP program. The change that will grab the attention of the vast majority of players is the decrease in monthly VIP Player Points (VPPs) that will be required to reach certain VIP levels. To reach the SilverStar level, players will only need 1,200 VPPs per month, rather than 1,500. GoldStar will only require 3,000 VPPs, down from 4,000, and it will take 7,500 VPPs to hit PlatinumStar, instead of the current 10,000.

:)

I usually use my fpp in 1 and 2 table sngs. The 1 table is a 10 man sng costing 70 fpp with the winner receiving an $11 buy in to the sunday $200,000 guaranteed or you can pay 210 fpp and play a 2 table (20 runners) sng and the top 6 receive the same $11 seat.I withdraw and turn these winnings into t$.I dont like the pay structure of the $200,000 but that is just a personal choice. These tourney $ can be used for any sngs or mtts.

There is now a 20FPP Bronzestar with a $1,000 prize pool. Starts at 14:05 and 18:05 daily. Something to add to the chart.

These were added, but looks like this may have caused the removal of the Sunday $2,000, 50fpp tourney from the schedule that ran at 18:00.

As of today, the 'VIP Tournament Schedule' at http://www.pokerstars.com/vip/tournaments/ has not been updated. Change may be in the 'test and analysis' phase.

That Sunday tournament is still there.

I am going to un-sticky this. If somebody wants to post an updated one I will be glad to sticky it.
