Poker Stars deposit help!

I was trying to reload at pokerstars. They had mastercard listed and my creditcard didn't work. I called support and they told me the Vanilla Mastercard Gift card- Bill Pay works. I went to Walgreens and bought one. You can load them with $20 -$ 300. They cost 4.95 and aren't reloadable. It worked like a charm. They said don't buy the Vanilla visa too many restrictions.

Good Advice!! (fwiw.. the VisaGiftCard 'used to work'..but not anymore).

Also... consider depositing in an uneven amount (ie. if you want to put in $300... deposit $299.62 instead). Some banks have blocks on 'even' purchases with GiftCards.. as many of the even amount purchases online are for internet gaming sites (support at Doyles told me this one quite awhile back... & after trying to deposit with even amount and having it fail... I tried the uneven amount & 'bingo'.. first try it worked)

Visa vanilla never worked, I am glad about the mc still works, however the more threads about this on different forums they may find out and shut it down. I know one forum they are just telling each other via pm.
But ty for the info, I was just telling a friend I am getting one but not sure if it still worked.
oh and I am not a member at the other forum, I just googled deposit options for stars and it popped up. lol
