I was playing a Daily Dollar .25 qualifier and who is at the table but Mike Sexton. Not real familiar with him and hes kind of new but he is on Full Tilts pros. He played real similar to my game but he must have had crappy cards as I saw him play A9 once and most of the time he was folding maybe a couple raises. I ended up taking him out in BB with A3 because he was short stack with 4 players left and calling his all in was very small compared to the BB I already had in, I actually cant remember what he went all in with but it was something like KJ, I hit trip threes on the flop, not sure why he was playing at that table but I could tell he was way more tight than most who play those tables.

He always plays really low stakes for some reason.

Maybe part of his contract.

Mike Sexton is not exactly new (unless you mean to FT, in which case I don't know). He is one of the more popular announcers, and from what I have seen/read a very solid player.

Just type his name into google, and I am sure you will recognize his face...or voice if you watch a video.

Anyways...congrats on knocking out one of the FT pros. No matter what the buy-in is.

Great job. No, he's not new at all, been a pro over 25 years... http://pokerdb.thehendonmob.com/player.php?a=r&n=214 And he seems to play absolutely everything - and very well, but a bit of a Stud specialist. He like the H/L games too and PLO. In fact NLHE is probably his worst game. So, do you get a the 'I knocked out a pro' t-shirt??

Wish you would have asked him what games he plans to play at wsop - I need help with my FT Fantasy picks. hehehe

Erm... Mike Sexton is a Party Poker endorsee. Pretty sure he's not, and never has been, a red pro on Full Tilt.

Are you sure it wasn't Matt Sexton? http://www.fulltiltpoker.com/matt-sexton

Oops. SHould have occurred to me, in my Fult Tilt Fantasy WSOP, that Mike's name was not in red.

I've seen both Matt and Mike on FT.

Never paid any attention, but if Mike does play there, you wouldn't qualify for that t-shirt for knocking him out.

Yeah Oz is right Mike Sexton has nothing to do with FT and is not even related to the 2 Sexton's on FT.
