Looks like many poker rooms set up their freeroll at the same time.
How well does it go playing at several poker room at the same time?

I play at four poker rooms at the same time. I mostly play cash games at pokerstars, I play tournaments at 888poker and ACR, and sometimes I can go to GGPOKER

Yes, playing at different sites/rooms at the same time is quite normal for me as well. I'll play at ACR while playing in the CC games at other sites.

my laptop is quite old .... 3 different poker sites at once might really overtax it . the computer crashes regularly with just 1 online room open

It has happened that I have played on several sites at the same time, but usually I only play on one site.

Sometimes you just have to multi task and play different tourneys at different sites. It’s not just freerolls that different sites put on at the same time, there are tournaments and other games taking place 24/7 across all of the sites so this is always an option.

It can be done, and if its freerolls, it does not matter, because you can not lose. But for regular games I prefer to play at only one site at a time. I find it to messy and confusing to have to arrange tables from multible sites and adjust to the different software from hand to hand. And also there is just not a lot of reason to do it, unless its to play freerolls, or you are a full time professional player. For me as a part-time player I can find more than enough action on PokerStars.

Of course, it is possible and necessary, this is more likely to succeed. At the same time, fatigue will come faster, you need to calculate your capabilities.

It depends on the sites. Playing on Stars and Fulltilt was easy, but try Replay, Merge, and Everygame at once and see if you dont freeze up.
