Imagine going to Vegas where you have a multitude of rooms to play at. Each with it's own ambiance. Different tables, different chairs, different chips.
The ambiance at bodog is cheap IMO. Like stackable chairs, the temperature is too cold, and the drinks are clearly watered down. It is an uncomfortable table to sit at in that sense.
Part of that experience has to do with the creature comforts, and it is comparative in nature. Compared to that 'ambiance' at Tilt, or Stars, or even UB, bodog lacks big time.
When I want the lobby, I don't want a menu of lobbies, I want the lobby for the tourney I am playing.
When I want a Hand History I don't want to 'need' an interpreter.
If I want to give my buddy some of MY money, I don't want to have to clear out my account to do so. And even if I do want to clear out my account, apparently I need the head hancho's permission, and he seems to always be on vacation.
While my analogies may be a bit absurd, they are valid. The feel of a bodog table is not good. It is a whole lot better than it used to be, but it has a long long way to go.
FWIW, I don't find the talent at any site much different than at any other site, so I ignore all the poor player comments.
I don't consider bodog to be one of my main sites and these are a few of the reasons.
