There is nothing wrong with going in and playing in an online casino IF all of the following points are checked off:
- You are playing for entertainment only
- You are playing on a strict budget
- You have zero expectation of winning a dime
- You are playing on a reputable sight
- You are not playing with money you can't lose
- You recognize the signs of gambling addiction and are either not falling into that trap, or have people around you aware of what you are doing who are not concerned for your well-being in any way
- You don't play to chase losses from other activities - sports betting, poker, other casino games, etc.

I will throw $20 or $40 at blackjack or online slots periodically with no expectation of winning and use only well known, long established reputable sites.
