The "NUTS"

Please don't laugh or think me stupid, but I have a question ...... what is the "NUTS" ? I think I know but I'm new at this and I want to be sure..... Thanks.

The nuts is the best hand possible with the cards showing, so having the nuts on the flop may not be the best hand after the river.

Also, if you play Omaha Hi-Lo (Omaha/8) [or any other hi/lo game for that matter] there can be two NUTS a Hi and a Lo
