Hey forum,

I recently signed up at GGPoker and used the free tickets in the first week which is over now.

Since my BR is rather small, I wanted to look into SnGs but I wasn't able to find any (except Spin&Go or AoF). Am I blind or does GGPoker simply not offer this game type of regular Sit&Go?

Thanks for your help. :)

As far as I know, there are no classic SnGs on GG Poker.

Hey Andyreas, no I don't think they do have any sit n goes.

I would recommend the T$ Builders as you have a small BR. These are rake free and a very weak fishy field. They have 0.25, 0.50, $1, and $2 versions of these. They can be fairly small fields depending on when you play, so can be a bit like a mutli table sit n go on Stars. :)

Andreas,

Now that you've commented, I was thinking... it's true, there are no traditional SnGs! haha
I hadn't noticed before, because I play this style very little.

Have you activated the honeymoon promotion for new members?
It's super valid to raise BR and despite having to risk a lot playing a lot of AoF for example...
...it gives us the ability to raise BR in the first month.

Thank you, buddy! That's exactly what I started doing. But no luck so far. Or am I the bigger fish? 🙊🤣

I checked the people at my table and some had several 100k total winnings, so I guess you're right about the field and some try to exploit and I have bumped into a few non-fishes. 🙄

I think I did but each day I check the games I need to play, I cannot get inclined to start playing those. 🙊
But I'll look into it again to not miss out on it, thank you!

There's a bonus first week assignment too!

But in the case of the honeymoon, you must enable it and fulfill the objectives during the first month...
25 out of 30 tasks are reasonably easy.

Any questions follow below:

From playing so much AoF in the first week at the 'house' I won a jackpot of $70.00! hehe

Maybe I should have looked some more into it before dismissing. Looking at the list, I defo could have fulfilled some until now. 😅

But better start late than never. Just hit the X10 multiplyer today, so my first mission. 🎉

My congratulations, Andreas! I managed to complete 28 out of 30 tasks and the bankroll at this point was $80 without a deposit. The last two turned out to be impossible - "take 1st place in a regular bounty tournament" and "hit the jackpot in the AoF". And so - everything is more or less accessible and you should succeed. Play AoF more carefully..))
There is another interesting thing in My promo - "Daily freebie". Every day you may go there and pick up a free ticket to battle royale or spin and go tournaments.

I understand that the "honeymoon" in addition to completing tasks introduces newcomers to the extensive program of games on the site. And then each player plays what he likes.

True, I don't know why they have no regular sng's. There's also hu missing. You would need to find a table and leave when third player join, well..
If you want to build bankroll use daily freebies tickets, unfortunately they are mostly for spin&gold, sometimes for battle royale.
Most promo bucks I made were from playing on rush and regular cash tables, from bad beats promotions.
T$ builder is great, though they all are in turbo format, so there's always something.
Conclusion is promotions are great for one playing more with volume, which is not usually a thing for someone trying to build bankroll from 0 (is this what you are going to do here?).
I play every cardchat freeroll, seems best so far for a kick ((y) admins).

I started playing at GGpoker not long ago and I never deposited, I only play with the daily freebies and CC frerrolls, my winnings are mainly with Spin Go 0.25 and Batlle Royale.
I currently have a bankroll of $83.85, my question is will I be able to withdraw if I want to, even though I haven't made any deposits.

That's probably a question for their support but I assume you need to get verified first before you can withdraw.
When I opened the account I sent all the documents they asked for, and then they replied that everything was ok.
Will this be enough, or will I need to deposit?

Just try to withdraw. Or if you want to be sure to be able to withdraw later at a specific point in time, ask them what information they need.

Maybe a card statement from your bank or smth.

In the meantime, I have completed all the missions after your suggestions and now I'm angry I didn't start earlier.

I'd never have managed all of them but I assume something between 23-25 should have been easily doable and now I need to be happy if I get to 20 since I missed out the first seven days. 😱

I'll never make that mistake again not looking into all the promos of a site. 😅

I've just started, after I read this thread. I missed the first 4 days. I don't know if my br will allow me to attempt all the missions, but let's try.
Edit: since I registered I'm using the free tickets. Maybe that would help

Edit: I realized there was probably a translation issue before your post edit. A shame you missed out the first 4 days but better than 7. 😅

Good luck on your honeymoon missions. 🤗

Maybe it differs by region, but it seems like sng volume is dead.

It not, what it used to be. But SnGs are still running 24 hours a day on pokerstars. At certain times of day the action caps out at $10 games though. So its likely not possible to be a full time "SnG pro", unless you are in a country with low cost of living. There is also pretty good SnG volume on ACR, but only during the american evening hours.

I think reasoning behind this is SNGs and, in general, capped field MTTs were generally beaten by regs, leaving less room for starting rookies. Probably nobody would want to play on platform where everyone is a shark, and some money comes from recreational and new players.
As you can see, tournaments at lower buyins lean more to structures which add more element of luck, giving a chance to rookies: spin&gold, aof, flip&go, T$ builder series in turbo format, even battle royale has a second stage which reminds of spin&gold.
As a consequence, as a less luck-based ones, there are more tournaments with uncapped larger fields. Larger field makes it harder to profit from. From what I see on GG and sharkscope, even some of the best players of MTTs are around 10%-15% ITM. Which, actually, is not a lot if you think about it for a second.

All formats of serious poker has always been "beaten by regs", so there is really nothing new in this. But its true, that the recreational money has moved towards more gambling oriented forms of poker and non-poker forms of gambling like casino games and sportsbetting. This has been going on for around 15 years, so its certainly nothing new.

SnG volume on PokerStars is not, what it used to be, but neither is MTT volume or cash game volume. On the 2+2 poker forum there is an old thread for "180-man regulars". Recently someone made a funny comment, that in a sense, we still have 180-mans, because outside peak hours non-PKO MTTs on Stars generally dont attract more than 180 players these days :)
