Another disgraceful decision by the new crooke PS management team.
Not only is poker less beatable and profitable due to the lack of players, promotions, overlays and countries regulations.
Now they want to increase rake and lower rewards. They suck, plain and simple.
That management is a disaster for poker.

Well in my view of many players this is hurting many more players I have not found a good idea or a good program for online poker lovers have reduced the prizes we will do what né as they say the house always wins

These boxes feel ridiculously unrewarding compared to the rakeback of the old VIP system. Especially considering the minuscule time-frame in which you are given to upgrade (or face being dropped back down to the small boxes). It’s madness...

The little I have seen so far has only served to confuse me. They speak in generalities and really don't give much specific information.I am a copywriter by trade and seeing this makes me nervous. I know what it usually means when a company talks in shadows instead of concrete. I do it for them every day.

6 Months into this new system and it is still as awful as it was when it was announced.
Stars pitch was it is was geared towards recreational players which simply is not true.
All of the half descent rewards start from the Bronze box the first 2 ones the red and blue ones have basically nothing in them.
The amount of play required to get to the Bronze+ boxes are too high for any recreational player I know to reach. Plus the rewards in these boxes are somewhere between 10-20% of what we used to get in the old system.
So in the end the conclusion is they changed their rewards system to reduce rewards to players, cut costs and put more $$$ in their pockets.
My guess is little by little traffic slow on Stars it has already started and it will eventually reach a point where they will have to change it.

Didn’t realise it was an old thread until you said lol. Regardless still a solid topic to bring back up
10-20% lower is a massive amount that they have sliced off (didn’t know it was that much but wow that’s cruel). It’s a complete lack of respect for their regular customers and it probably seems a more enticing system to new customers (due to the seemingly instantaneous rewards) and obviously expanding is their main aim. I just don’t understand the system in itself. I reach Blue box most days but then it seems so much more difficult to go any further than that and even so would it actually be worth it?

I think I phrased it wrong or you read it wrong it was 10-20% of what we used to get meaing a 80-90% cut.

Really? I mean Stars could make a negative bonus i.e. you lose no matter what and people would still line up like crazy.
People on Stars are insane because they love the software and the big tourneys.

I've been playing spin and go for awhile and all I get is just double what I payed. Nothing less. Nothing more. It's kind of irritating.

You noramlly get at least one 4X or 6X on 8 tries.
If you only get 2Xs in 8 tries you are just running bad and try back later.
Happens sometimes. I get stretches of 15-20 2Xs ever so often it is really annoying and a recipe for disaster.
Have seen some 10X this week no 25X.
I did hit a 100X last week either Thursday or Friday see below. Higher multipliers are possible just need to keep grinding.

Casino/gambling has been known for money laundering. So maybe Stars just want their fair share (the rake) if someone is using them to launder money in the Casino section. :lollypop:

The new pokerstars reward program is very economical, the player accumulates hours of poker and receives a personalized chest. Previously the VIP program was interesting because the player met a goal and grew and had money as a reward according to their VIP level.
