"Well kept secrets" in the poker world tend to turn into "were´s my money?" arguments.....

Exactly.
without the thousands of paying customers it takes to keep games going they can't generate enough rake to cover expenses. And before disappearing for good, they're more apt to pay their staff than a bunch of nameless overseas people who aren't likely to pursue their money.

The best site I've played so far is Bodog, Sportsbook is the WORST

Why do you think Sportsbook is the worst, I personally think it is the easiest competition and I haven't had a problem cashing out. Once they gave me $50 because there check "took too long" to get to me even though it arrived in the 3 week period they suggest.

Side Note: Played the 50 like it was a freeroll entry in a buy in tourney and cashed out 600 finishing 9th when I had QQ shortstacked running into AA

There is another forum that recently starting using high 5 for some of their freerolls and buy-in events. From what I recall, it is NOT U.S. friendly, so being from Illinois (the OP) you prolly won't be playing there.

Some of the players have posted that it's a decent site, but I haven't even tried to download it. I do agree with sticking with known major sites with a proven track record, but a lot of players find success at the smaller sites.

i have play there a few times. Dont bother is the advice il give you..Its C-R-A-P, like a ghost town. No one there, its dull and the graphic and stuff are very poor. Stay with the big dogs (full tilt, pokerstars..etc)

I dunno about this one. I had won money from a freeroll and did not play there since. My money is still there but in November I received an email that they now accept US players. I cannot speak of withdrawals from them but have seen that some ppl have successfully done it.......have heard nothing from the US players though. I will not deposit to withdraw my money until I hear a couple success stories but atm I do know overseas ppl have and US can supposedly do it.

Posted from their site map, current as of today:

ACCEPTANCE AND SETTLEMENT OF BETS
1. All betting is done in EURO (EUR). The minimum bet is EUR 0,10 and the maximum bet on one slip varies from time to time and is displayed in connection to the betting object.
2. High5action accepts singles on most betting objects. Some objects require minimum doubles or trebles though. Most objects can be part of multiple bets (accumulators).
3. The highest number of betting objects accepted in a combination is ten (tenfolds).
4. A bet is valid only after High5action has accepted it. Residents of USA are not allowed to place bets with us.

I was wondering about this site as well as it is new to me and the topic came up. Being from the US makes it even harder to find a good Site.

High5Action is part of the Entraction Network(24 hr. Poker). It is not available to US players.
