Need Your Help On a PokerStars Problem Just Occurred This Week

I have never ever seen anything like this happen before.

I have been with pokerstars for about 20 years.
I am a Club Manager of a rather large Home Game Room that has been
playing poker with a group of very nice friendly people for almost 20 years on PokerStars.
A short time ago we removed a club member for trying to recruit our club members for other clubs.
He has told people on the ring tables that he would get me and another club member.

Well, here is the problem that I am having and the reason that I am so pleased that I have come across this site to hopefully help me resolve this issue.

A couple days ago I went to sign on to my PokerStars account.
And, I entered my ID and Password expecting to be logged in and I got back an immediate response saying.....
"THE USERNAME AND PASSWORD YOU HAVE ENTERED DO NOT MATCH. PLEASE TRY AGAIN"
I have found it almost impossible to contact PokerStars and I have never ever seen anything like this happen before.

I'm sorry to hear you are having a problem with Stars. But there is very little we can help you with. Your best option is probably to try to reach them via email or in Twitter (X).

Then only way he could have been responsible is if he reported you for something and they have closed your account. Have you asked anyone in your club if you still show up as a club member?

In your club was anything done that would violate their T&C?

Pokerstars has been putting an end to Poker Clubs for some time now. Now if you can no longer log into the pokerstars system, I don't know what the problem is, it's probably something else. Only VIPs can have a poker club.
Since Amaya Gamers moved to Rational Grup, PokerStars has changed drastically, including freerolls no longer exist, and tournament platforms are no longer just valid. For tournaments they are adopting KO, which doesn't reward like the traditional versions and also, the only strategy for you to win something in this game is to go All-in, as you win by eliminating the other.

It's an odd one, I cannot see Pokerstars shutting your account without sending you some sort of correspondence. I would advise emailing their support so they can address the issue and advice why you cannot login. This may just be some sort of mistake somewhere,

Yikes! That is an interesting situation indeed. It's never fun when someone tries to poach your players and threaten you at the same time. Hopefully their support team and/or security team can assist you.

Debi, thank you for your response. I just had someone check for me and yes I am still listed as the club manager. In fact I am registered for a couple tournaments in advance and I am still listed as for some of the upcoming tournaments.

I don't get it. This surely isn't very Friendly PR to me.
Debi, I have another subject if you don't mind maybe helping me and my club members.
I have about 68 active Club Members that want to follow me and keep our club together
and some of us have been playing poker together for 20 years.
They want me to try and find another place to open a club that will allow playing for "Free Chips"....
Do have any suggestions?

Replay Poker - we do a lot of our events there now. You have to get used to the software - especially the fact that the tables don't open automatically. But over all we love it.

Looks to me as if your password has been changed. (presumably by someone else who knew your password).

I've had a club forever too... I remember this stuff from back in the day lol. I myself haven't played there in forever yet I still get messages about this or that to this day, it's not worth the drama..... Anyway sounds like a pw issue. Email pokerstars and they will ask questions about your account to verify it's you and allow you to choose a new pw!

That happened to me many times at PokerStars, YOUR USER NAME AND PASSWORD DO NOT MATCH, and when I try to reach them by email it does not work. I have an old 20 years account. Now I cannot sign out of my account.
I just don't know what to do.

I am having the same exact issue. I can play on my phone, on my laptop, but not on my desktop. This is not a revenge thing; this is a software issue. Desktop affected running Windows 10. Started yesterday around 8 pm. By being able to use my laptop to access my account, I can see all info is correct. The "username and password you have entered do not match" is only happening on 1 of multiple devices I use to access poker stars. I also am a club manager for a home game, we play every Tuesday night. I have uninstalled and reinstalled on this desktop: no good. If I figure out what has happened, I will come back and repost for you. Same thing if you figure it out, please post.

Actually, their support always answers emails. It might take a couple of days sometimes, but they always end up answering. If they did not after 3 days or so, just try again.
And about that issue, try uninstalling and re-installing the client and if possible, use a different device. Also, make sure you're not using a VPN.
