Great idea for them. All those who win pocket change in the private freerolls or site freerolls will lose all the $ back to them. Probably have even more players then the had b4. Suprised it took this long. Tilt and Stars are like Mcdonalds and Burger King. If 1 has something, the other isnt 2 far behind with something the same or very similar.

if i wasnt mistaken, the rake at the micro stakes are 10%, and at low stakes, it seems to be dropped from 10% to 6.5-7% ish.
i agree though, ft should drop the minimum deposit from $50 to $10, with the inclusion now of micro stakes. would definitely attract more new players. especially in this economic climate.

yea ive heard about the rake at 10nl dropping but 25nl has actually increased a bit. still no definitive answer on the rake at micro stakes though, i dont think its 10%. someone mentioned on 2+2 that he saw $0.01 taken out of a $0.20 pot which would make it 5%. kinda sucky that ftp didn't update their rake page when the new update came out

Already are - they are called 'freerolls'. What insanity would there be in a $.09 SnG 9max prize pool ?? and no rake to the site to run it. ...
Better yet - how about a .01 SnG MATRIX - ??? -

Ahhhhhhh I was waiting a long time for this to happen.
Though I like playing MTTs and SNGs I often have time issues.
Work, need for sleep or my girlfriend always seem to collide with my playing.
I can't even remember ONE MTT where I didn't have to sit out for at least 10 min because something really important happened and needed to be fixed.

Too me about week before I finally hit, but it was very minimal.
I am now sitting at $16 courtesy of SnG's and .5/.10 cash tables.

New Micro Stakes on Full Tilt
Hey Everyone,
In this past Software Update for full tilt poker, they added the new Micro Stakes tables...
which include the new tables $0.01/$0.02
and the $0.02/$0.05
I think it's a great addition, so now you can put those last $0.80 cents to good use, and try and build up your stack on the Micro Tables.
I have build my $0.95 into $5.23 in about 2 or 3 days... each day I put in about 2 hours...
You got to be patient and wait for good hands, the majority of the players at this tables are CALLING STATIONS, FISHES, and MOUSES... So it's a good place to make money for those of you better players out there ;-)

i figured i'd mention this for those who need ring game practice and small BR.
maybe someone else has brought it to your attention, not sure.
.01/.02 and .02/.05 ring games on fulltilt.
.01/.02 buy in .40/$2. max; and .02/.05 buy in %1./ max $5. of course i found these and some will vary accordingly.
i found it exciting since i play mostly tournies and not to many ring games anymore. so for me this is a way to develope my ring game skills cheaply.

the last time i played one of the hands i got was pocket rockets. it was great! opp raises 20x BB and i called, oh this was preflop, board was untextured and i felt very secure, he raised again so on and so forth, till we were both allin. i won, lol.
he didn't have squat, so they are a little looser i think at this limit. probably thinking it's only pennies, lol.

This new micro stakes at Full Tilt is great. It gives many more players the chance to increase their bankroll. This opens many new doors for a lot of poker players. Also, the lower rake rates are not bad either. I have taken advantage of this opportunity and everyone else who plays at low stakes should also.
