Played a freeroll thru another forum site. While I had it on my computer tried to play the "PokerDome" challenge. Game got shut down after about 3/4 of an hour, "due to technical difficulties".

Played there a few times. Like the previous comment I have played the Poker Dome freeroll a few times and on one occassion we were down to the last 30 when the game froze. Apparently the compensation for investing 2 and a half hours of your life in their freeroll that goes kaput is instructions as to when the next freeroll starts..not happy! They could at least have set up a new tourney for those players left to qualify. Ironically this software is programmed by the same company who did WPT Online and they had the same problem on some of the tournaments I played there.

I was preparing a ratings review on my website yesterday for Mansion and ironically as I was going to get a few screen grabs the system crashed and yes you guessed it the Poker Dome freeroll was abandoned after 45 mins.

My impression of the traffic for ring games and tournaments (apart from freerolls) is that it is quite light and I have spent ages waiting for a table to fill up. Of the 13 poker sites that I currently have ratings for Mansion comes in in 11th place so from my perspective there are better sites out there.

I played my first game at Mansion today, finished 33rd in the poke dome freeroll. The game did seem a bit sluggish at times but never died on me (only the cards...lol)
I had a good time though and the play wasn't too awful, even for a FR.
Don't know if I'd ever deposit there, but I will keep trying the Dome challenge.

I've played in some of the Poker Dome freerolls too and have had the software completely crash on me several times. I think it may be at least partially due to my computer's limited memory, though (non-upgradeable), and having several other applications open at the same time.

They have a special promo, if you play 25 blackjack hands, you recive a ticket to the weekly 3000$ freeroll. But this is only for a few weeks. I noticed, that not too many players are here, it's worth to play in guaranteed tourneys.

Weird thing that I don't think I like just started happening to me........
Mansion keeps trying to open all on it's own. I haven't touched it since trying the Dome challenge on the 5th and now the last 2 days when I've come to the computer the Mansion login page is open asking me to login. Maybe I have ghosts who wanna play there but I think they have some sort of secret computer program that keeps opening it up as a "reminder" to keep playing there. I don't like that at all, has that happened to anyone else?

No, but that's not cool at all. Grounds to uninstall IMO. Unless your computer has restarted and it's in the startup group?
