ya limiting chat due to players getting upset makes no sense if it was a problem that would cost them players every site would take chat away, theres more to it.

Which is probably exactly why they turned off chat. I was bummed too for the reason you stated but have to realize Bovada/Ignition's entire business model is based on the "recreational player" model which they defined specifically due to the anonymous format.
A lot of players don't want to sit down with a bunch of stats, having their play tracked across their entire hand history by HUDs and/or see the same 6 usernames taking their gambling fun money.
Chat is fun and as you said chat gives info, which if you're dedicated to the recreational model, you want to protect your rec players as much as possible and limit others' ability to get that info.

bovada is getting worse and worse now. Same guy took 4 bounties and each time he was calling preflop with crap. Calls 4000 chips with 7-9 offsuit flop is K77. Prior to that same guy has 3-8 suited calls 3500 chips preflop and flops a flush. I could see if it wasn't the same person but i've noticed a pattern on the site.

I heard it was because of so many suck outs, and people are starting to catch on to the fact their RNG is not very random. It's no secret that there are more suck outs on Ignition than most sites. That's why BetOnline is doing better now.
On Ignition, chances of your AA getting cracked by a 27o, is pretty high. At BetOnline and some of the other sites, it's much more rare.

Just today I played on ignition/bovada again to see if anything changed. $10 knockout tournament Had K4 flop comes K 4-5 I bet 600 chips everyone folds but one guy. turn comes it's a 7. Again I bet 900 the other guy goes all in He has J8 and wouldn't you know the 6 hits on the river. Why would anyone be calling my flop bets with nothing and then just happen to hit the river? I have seen so many examples like this. I am done with bovada poker. I tweeted them asking them to fix their software and I hope they lose their shit and people go elsewhere. It's not worth it to play on their fixed site.

it was never vile and it's funny how once the chat option is gone all these suckouts occur. Think what you want but why remove the chat unless you have something to hide? If you don't like what people say simply turn the chat option off but to take it from everyone is garbage and shows me that they have something to hide.

yep royal flushes and quads hit at least three times per tournament and this is just what I see. I imagine it's happening on other tables too but since people can't chat about it nobody realizes it. It's turned into bingo and i'm done with them until they update the software. Hell they don't even offer bonuses. Other sites like sportsbook offer bonuses every week. Ignition/bovada do not reward loyal members.

ignition and bovada is the same. Only thing different is Bovada also allows sports. Checks all come from the same place same casino. I would strongly avoid both while the software is the way it is now. If you have bit coin I would reccomend sportsbook.ag if you want a bonus referral feel free to inbox me here. Also sportsbook allows you to use nicknames so you can really study people and notice the trends. It also allows for chat.

I didn't participate in trash talking too much,but it is another part of strategy gone down the toilet! How else will u know if the other player is on tilt! The other thing is people use the chat to engage to make sure they are not playing a bot. Even sometimes trying to figure out if 2 players are colluding! I'm not 1 of these players that think everything is rigged because I had a bad day,but this will only throw a cloud of suspicion on the company!

It already has. The amount of crazyness that has happened since they removed chat is wayyyy too much to be a mere coincidence. I would average 5-6 knockouts per tournament. Since the change I have been lucky to get 1 or 2. I always have monster hands like KK AA or AK suited and they will always be rivered for a random ass straight or flush. It happens every time I start to win chips. I am done with their poker until they add the chat back or update the software. Too many strange coincidences and when something looks fishy it usually is.
