I Miss Poker Stars

OK so a few months ago I bemoaned the fact that PS seemed to be home to all the good players and that the cards were always so unkind to me. After losing $400 at Stars (which is/was quite a large chunk of my BR) I resolved to uninstall the PS software and not to let it near my hard drive again.

Well, the problem is, I kinda miss playing on it. I've gone and re-installed it and I have been dipping in now and again just to look at all those tempting tournies and SnGs that are on offer. I'm on the brink of taking the plunge back in.

Previously, I got my arse kicked playing cash games so I am toying with the idea of plopping down $200 and playing a few $6.50 / $6.60 SnGs just to get back into the swing. I've also noticed that there are some inviting $13 / $16 SnGs of various types.

My total BR on 8 sites, at present, is $2K so I'm covered fine for this. My questions are:

1. Do you think this is a good idea?
2. Is the competition really THAT soft on the $6.50 / $6.60 SnGs?
3. Is there a vast difference, in player ability, between the $6.50/$6.60 tables and the $13/$16 SnG tables?

Finally,

4. I enjoy the cut and thrust of 6 handed tables. Is it more profitable to play the 6-handed or the 10-handed tables?

Thanks in advance.

what you have on any specific site does not matter, your bankroll is your bankroll regardless of where it all is located.

2k on 1 site or 2k spread through 4 different sites still equals 2k. Like if you only had $400 on stars and $1600 on full tilt you would still have 2k and could play $100 NL on either site.

True, unless you mind going busto at one place and having to redeposit. I know I wouldn't deposit less than 25 or 30% of my BR at a new site. Would be worthless to try to play at the new place at my usual limit since one (small) bad swing and I would have to redeposit wich is bothersome.

in the past it did not matter because with neteller you could move money in matter of minutes but yea now its a little tougher. I only play 2 sites so my money gets spread between only 2.

I really enjoy the variety of playing on those different sites. I'm a sucker for knowing that those little icons lead to different "poker worlds". I just couldn't restrict myself to 2 or 3 choices.

2. I don't trust my abilities enough (yet) to go for the higher stakes.
