Hi, i'm new to the game of poker and doing everything I can to get better and part of that is trying to develop a disposable bankroll to start off. What might be the best suggestions to do that and manage it? Pros say certain percentages of your bankroll max should be put into one single event but what is the percentage you guys use?

Don't play on unibet, that site is best for playing impulsively.

What bankroll you need depends primarily on why you started playing poker. Beginners and casual players alike will say they started playing for fun. At this stage, they play with whatever money they can spend on their hobby. They can go to casinos, play with friends, or deposit money into a virtual poker account. This fun requires money and is the fastest way to understand all aspects of poker. When I started playing, I quickly realized that I had to play carefully or poker would cost me all my other entertainment, but I loved poker and still love it.

How to create a bankroll
The main principle of building a bankroll is to do it slowly and systematically, gradually gaining experience, and not trying to immediately throw money. Of course, you can do this as long as you are financially independent and can afford to add to your bankroll whenever you want. If so, take a chance and gain experience. However, it's best to be more disciplined and calculate your bankroll based on your playing skill.

Depends on many things, usually they say the 100 buyin, some the 200.
How most of the players here, I play micro/low, so the 100 looks okay - for me personally even less 70-80.
Anyway, it means nothing, if you can't handle the bad beats, runs against you, tilts. As these things damage bankroll, so you need to find out your personal minimum, what works for you, highly depends on what you play and what level you play on.

Starting with a minimum of funds is a situation where you literally cling to any opportunity to further increase your bankroll without unnecessary risk. In such a situation, freerolls are one of the best options. But there is one more - deposit bonuses.

I think the less you have to play the less you will lose, I like to have a limited amount of money to play. Because when I have too much I have no control I get the desire to play everything I haven't so far:confused::confused::):D

It would probably be good to start with freerolls where you can earn some money without the risk of losing any.

The best way to build a bankroll is through freerolls. It's best to earn your bankroll from playing poker not preforming hard work. That way it doesn't hurt that much if you lose it. You just go right back to the drawing board.

As it turns out, so manage. This is poker, you can't predict anything here. There is always a chance of losing everything. Therefore, you should not bet everything on one tournament.

The thing I think is often missed is the managing part of the bank roll. In theory you should never go bust if you set up some bankroll mgt rules for youself.

Not everyone likes restrictions, self imposed or otherwise. But if you do feel you would benefit from it, then make a plan and stick to it.

My own rule is around 5% for a sit n go and 2/3% for MTT. I don't play much cash. The key I think, isn't the actual percentage, its the fact that if you only ever play a percentage of your roll, you can never play all of it, and therefore never go bust, you just end up playing freerolls until build back up again.
