First off, apoligizes for anyone and everyone who is against using a forum for getting off fustration, but I really need to vent.

Being on BetOnUsa,I found myself up $80's in luck. But,being a newbie to on-line poker,I kept playing....and when I started losing, couldn't just walk away still ahead...I lost it all.I mean it was $50,no biggie but :-(

Since being on Titan in these past two weeks,I've been able to cash out fairly quickly with the originally money i put in,with a lil profit on the site...for fun ya know if you lose it...it was for free.

Last week,in profit I was up $50,but a bad beat between the .25\50 blind table and blackjack..pow!it's all gone.Tonite I had $50 waiting to be withdrawn...me being a moron pull it out...no problems so far...I actually turned it into $100.But then took it to blackjack trying to get a few more dollars to mess around with after i cash it out....i was actually $25 up on this, but a misclick and I'm back at 100....105...110...i beleive was my highest....my luck ran outi ended up at $25 but got it back up to 100 in a few lucky consecutive hands.Once again I wanted a few extra dollars to mess with!NO LUCK!quickly in a matter of 7-10 hands I had lost all my profit
Once again sorry for venting here...I'm hoping some of you can share in doing this yourself...so i dun feel so foolish for posting all this

Thanks

Actually this is a really good time to take a look a look at your poker plan or lack of it. Depending on your financial situation you need a plan and the disipline to stick with it.

Part of this game is disipline. If you don't have it, you need to develop it. Sometimes the wait for that one killer hand is excrutiating. You can use that disipline towards your finances.

My own game plan is I deposit $20 a month into neteller. It's what my finacial situation allows me to do. I quit smoking, don't hardly drink and don't go to movies so this is my mad money. The plan is to double it or more, withdraw the original stake or more and play with the rest. That $20 is all I allow myself to lose. I do not dip back in.

You need disipline not to go beyond the original stake, whatever you decide to use. If you lose the original stake it's freeroll time. The nice thing about the freerolls is if you win money you can withdraw it immediately. This also does wonders for developing your playing skills.
You learn very fast how not to call with the suited low connectors.

Good luck on learning.

Quit smoking, don't hardly drink, don't go to movies. Ahh so, now I understand why you have morphed from the sweet, shy, student eager to improve her game into the badass monster dominatrix who has been crushing everyone at the tables recently. I am sending you a carton of smokes & a quart of Everclear before I lose all my money at the tables. LOL. By the way, BBB is right, if your goal is to realize a profit at this, instead of just having a good time blowing a few bucks you need both a plan & the dicipline to follow it.

Dorkus, your post should read "Online Blackjack is -EV and I should not play it" Live blackjack can be +EV if your skilled at it. However, when plying online blackjack the cards are shuffled usualy after %10 of the deck, making card counting imposible. Im the first one to tell someone not to play online blackjack but theres no casinos near me so i still find myself playing it once in a while. If you play by the book you should only see a small drop in your bankroll.

It amazes me that anyone has had any luck playing Blackjack at Titan Poker. I gave it a try one day, and knew as soon as I was dealt 20, that I would beat by the dealer with 21. The dealer had 11, and was dealt another face card for 21! Fortunately this experience only cost me a buck or two, and I said the HELL with it! :thefinger

I had a decent run playing on partypoker one day. I had about $50 in my acount to start and after about mabee 100 hands I was up to like $70. I'd just make a $1 bet every hand and play by the blackjack stratagy chart. Of course this was just my lucky day though, I dont recomend that anyone plays blackjack online. Of course you can always use the double up system where you double your bet after every loss, then when you finaly win a hand you will be up exactly $1(assuming you started with a $1 bet). But again i wouldnt suggest anyone actualy does this. It may seem like easy money but things can quicky spin out of controll and you can lose your whole bankroll in a matter of 10 hands. If you just plainly enjoy playing blackjack thers a great site called Blackjacktime.com where you can play in free blackjack tournaments. Well, its realy more of a weekly ladder/leader board then a tournament. I dont play there very often now but if you see cardsharp in the tournament list thats me! Lol I love blackjack, cant ya tell.
