I have played for one year at bodog, I can tell you from experience, that you do not get more premium hands on that. Also I built my first bankroll at Everest Poker playing exclusively. It is softer than pokerstars, which may be one of the main reasons you can see success.

Whoever check this thread, I need quick suggestion, I running deep at Bodog $500 Freeroll right now, 63 places paid, only 200 left. I'm second chip leader at my table, but all peoples just shove all in, do I need to play aggressive or play safe?

Best regards

I'm guessing this is a bit too late.... but.. just pick your spots. Alot of new-ish players hear about how they need to be aggressive in later stages but then they just go overboard.. ie. start reraising SS's with A2o, A4o, etc.,.. when the SS's are priced in to call & you're likely wayyyyy behind their range. PICK YOUR SPOTS!!... GL!

Thank you Poker Orifice & fletchdad

Sorry to dissapoint you guys, I can't make it ITM. Blinds start increasing, at 500/1000 my stack not moving up (stay at around 25K since blinds 200/400). I can't do anything, because every hands peoples keep pushing all-ins, I even folded JJ (which I know it's the wrong move later). I finished at 134th if I remember correctly, while only 63 places paid. Well, 2.5 hours concentrating reading every moves on table doesn't give result but I do get more experience about MTT, at least I'm happy learning something new everyday.

Best Regards,
:) onizuka :)

Fantastic results so far!!! WTG!!

Question for ya though.... why feel the need to get better at cashgame when you're doing very well at SNG & DoNs? Why not just stick with that for awhile... then later consider switching over?

So are you noticing a difference in the play between Fulltilt & Bodog in the SNG's?
I'd consider playing at Bodog if they made some more improvments (the software doesn't seem to freeze up like it used to do all the time, but still did freeze on me at one point & I only played on there for a couple of hours). I also hate the handhistory feature on there (last hands played display) and don't like that you can only play 4 tables at a time.

What have you been playing on Fulltilt?

I read the other day about an MTT regs. experience when he was first starting out. He made quite a few $50 deposits before finally deciding that he'd stick to playing $1-45plyr SNG's & would keep on grinding them til' he was bankrolled for the $2's & $5's. He moved up to the $5's once he had a bit over $200 & stuck with them until he reached $1,000. Once he hit $1,000 he played the $5's & $10's (45's) and threw in the occassional MTT ($26).. binked a couple of good scores got up to over $5k and now today (2yrs. later) he plays MASS volume and has profits on Fulltilt of over $250k! Not too shabby.. but for sure this guy has put a TON of time into playing & learning the game.

Sounds like you're off to a great start onizuka.. stick with it!!
(personally I need to make a grinding strategy as I really need to build my bankroll up so I can get onto playing some stuff I'd like to be playing in... either that or move some $'s around between sites, instead of keepin' it locked up on sites I don't play much on).

GL!

My opinion of Titan.
Micro SNG - not busy enough.. not enough games running on there. Fields have a few gd players on each table, & some real bad ones too. I really don't like waiting around for a game to start up though & find that one needs to wait at the $10 buyin level before they fill up. (I'd think it'd be easier to run into colluding players because of this too... although I haven't played enough sng on Titan to notice it).

Micro & low buyin MTT > $5- $33, decent tourneys (some decent structure in the moderately higher buyins)... playing field size is ~100-200 at $20-$30 buyins... and closer to 300-900 in the lower ones (during peak hrs.).

Cash tables (micro) - I haven't played that much ring game on Titan but the bit I have played I find it's looser play than on Fulltilt. I've heard that some others do decently on Titan (ie. Zorba wins on there... so what's that tell ya?.. just kiddin' "Z").

Software is decent enough on Titan these days (not always the case imo... used to kinda suck).
Currently it's 3rd on my list of picks for poker sites (but that depends on what games you play.. and what you're looking for). Me.. it's MTTs. I prefer Fulltilt > Stars > Titan.
I agree with all of what PO has said here,

But it doesn't stop the donks that chase with any 2 suited cards from sucking out on you.
