Hand timer on Pokerstars

Do you know what the hand timer (in advanced gameplay settings) is for? It seems like it's counting seconds since the current hand began, but then stops after the set amount of seconds has run out? What is the purpose of that? 🤔

I've seen that one, but always left it off. No idea what it's for really. Maybe I'll turn it on and see what happens since you brought it up 🤪

It's just counting a certain amount of seconds and then stops 🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️ Mystery 😀

I have never heard of it and but maybe it's a help/guide to always make your action at the same time? Such that acting quicker or slower does not help others interpret your hand.

Hello dear captain, it's been a while 🤪, I just turned it on for the 1st time and going to play a SNG just to see what it does. I'll get back to you guys if I notice anything worth mentioning.

Yeah, it would be a cool feature if it started right at the time the action was on me. Starscaption has this and it's very helpful for someone like me, who acts very fast and sometimes without proper thinking. But no. This timer starts at the beginning of the hand and ends before the action even reached me 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
