I just played the cheapest Battle Royale tournament with 0,25$ buy-in on GG Poker and just randomly won bounty jackpot which was 32$ in the middle of the tournament.

I didn't get how it happened, at the beginning of the tournament I won one hand and then got message that I won this jackpot amount. Somebody knows how it works ? Or it happens randomly ? I'm curious to know how it works.

Btw my hand was 72o may be because of this I'm not sure lol

Yeah, there's a small percentage of each buy-in going into this jackpot and the chance of hitting it with a KO is 1/100, I think. Also the prize amount is random, but capped according to the buy-in.

As far as I know, it is not related to the hand at all.
