As someone in the US Bovada is great omo. I play WPN and others but I always feel like Bovada has been the most professional. Rarely have these server issues occurred over the years and that beats some of these issues at other networks. They have a much better live sports book imo as well for superior degening.

Yeah, I think bovada is really putting in an honest effort to fix it. The 10 dollar bonus they gave today was really nice if them (you have to go to the bonuses tab and claim it, the rollover is really easy, just to prove youre active) I think they only give it to people who were playing during the server crashes, but check anyway

I do wish bovada had the option to display a screen name if you don't want to be anon... I think having an easily recognizable screen name is a good way to create a table presence.

The bonus amount varies. I got $65 for it. But yeah still good of them to put forth effort.

Nobody ever mentions Carbon, they have good Sunday MTTs and the connection is flawless.

they shipped me a 65$ bonus with 1x rollover. Pretty darn sweet. They will probably get it fixed but we all know what we signed up for.

yeah bovada is very juicy:D
if they are provide a little better software, I would not go anywhere.

BTW: ACR is not tough... I have collected some hand history, some regs plays for like 15K-30K hands/ month, did not win.
but they loose their money very slow.

Speaking of juicy I just watched some dude tilt off $900 in Omaha hl. Got $200 Of it just joined the table and he maxed raise every hand with air

then you must sit in regardless of the bankroll management.
tilt money is very sweet.:D

I sit in a table NL400 with super short stack, some tilt player 4bet all in my AA with 35o.... and I am sitting on the right table that night. anyway, it is very sweet to find some fish like this:D I think he lost something like 1000 that night. reload 3 times.

I understand that this is most likely the scripted response sent by a costumer service representative. But I'd like to know more about the nature of these technical issues, and I think the majority of your costumers would like to know the same. This response might suffice for an isolated incident, but I think your players deserve a statement from someone who knows what is going on.

I think we deserve an explanation for the recent server crashes. It seems to me that the servers can't handle the traffic and I am wondering why you guys don't switch to more reliable servers.

I put 100$ on ACR for the first time over the weekend just to give it a try because Bovada was having bad issues, and my experience on ACR was not good. Their tournaments suck compared to Bovada and the sitandgo lobby is clumsy. I just hope Bovada gets things fixed or regulated poker comes to PA soon!

The funny thing is that shortly after reading this thread, I found that I was unable to log on to Bovada. I suppose that's better than be disconnected in the middle of a game. I think their network has trouble with the heavy traffic on weekends. I do most of my playing during off peak times like early mornings and early in the afternoon. Usually, during these times, if I have a problem with connection, I can usually be certain the problem is with my ISP. But if I'm playing during prime time on a weekend, and lose my connection to Bovada, I will check my DSL modem and router and find that I am not having a problem connecting to any other sites or web pages. This of course tells me that the problem is with Bovada.

I couldn't log in for 3 days but got no bonus. I do not like ACR at all, every single tournament is re-buy/late-reg. Lower the guarantee and make it a normal tournament. Bovada destroys them in tournament and game selection.

I do have to agree about Bovada's game selection. The only thing I dislike about them is the inability to keep notes on players due to the whole anonymous player thing. If I were able to keep notes, instead of having to figure out every player at the table from scratch every game, I would own that site.

Hello,

We’re currently experiencing technical issues with our Poker room. We're working diligently to fix these issues as soon as possible, and can assure you that your funds are safe.

If a tournament you were playing in is cancelled as a result of this issue, you will be refunded as per our Tournament Cancellation Policy, which can be found below:

http://poker.bovada.lv/getting-started/poker-tournament-cancellation

If you were low on chips when these issues started, there’s a chance you were eliminated before this policy was applied. If that was the case and you haven’t received a refund, please contact us with as much detail about the tournament you were playing as you can, and we will look to make it right.

Please accept our sincerest apologies for this issue; we appreciate your ongoing patience.

Thank you for your email. Should you have any questions or require any further assistance, please let us know.

^ only problem is they've said they only cancel a tournament if every single player in it is disconnected. In my experience they are pretty lenient on this but their policy is still far out of whack
