Thats interesting. I have been playing on 888 Poker since june 2019 with a few short breaks, and the problem has pretty much persisted all this time on at least two different laptops, which I have also used to run PokerStars and lately ACR. I suspect, that the crashes are caused by short fall-outs in my internet connection lasting maybe a second or two, which apparently the software is overly sensitive to.
The software of PokerStars usually manage to reconnect me, before my hands are folded, without crashing. But on 888 the lobby turns white, the program is not responding to any commands, and the only solution is to close it via task manager and then start it up again. After the restart often all the notes and tags will also have been deleted.
I started playing online slots, spending less time playing poker. One of the coolest slots I'm playing right now is the one I learned about at
https://pokiesman.com/free-pokies/vegas-party/ Vegas Party Slot is a game provided by NetEnt and based on Vegas culture . The game has 5 reels and 243 paylines, with no scatter symbols or bonus games. The minimum number of coins per revolution is 0.01, and the maximum is 0.5.
As I said, I have pretty much thrown in the towel and just accepted, that this is a quirk of 888 Poker, that I can either choose to live with or play somewhere else. Currently I am playing somewhere else, but this is not because of the software crashes. I am usually back after just 1-2 hands, so its not that big of a deal to me. I will also sometimes go to the toilet without waiting for the next break. So its only a real disaster, if it happen in the middle of a big pot, and I cant even remember, when is the last time, that was the case.
