Game close unexpectedly at 888

Hi... Sometimes when I play poker App closes unexpectedly... Anyone experience this too? Yesterday I was on good run, app close while I have pocket Ks and I raised 3x BB, right before flop opens app closed on 888, it's really frustrating when I lose chips because of this, happens once in a while, anyone have this issue too? Any solutions? Sometimes I even think the game/app is rigged and it's deviating.

I think 888 as a poker room is trustworthy. I'll start there.

Are you able to rule out that the problem isn't your computer? What operating system version are you using? What are your basic computer specs? How old a machine is it?

Do you run other software while you're playing? YouTube videos or Netflix? Playing media files?

All of those could be a factor. I'd try to rule those out first.

Unfortunately the software of 888 Poker is not the most stable, and for me it also tend to randomly crash maybe every 4-5 hours on average or something like this. I have no other solution than either live with it or dont play.

I guess I never run it for more than 2-3 hours at a time. But I've never had a crash.

I do have a unique problem with it though using Windows 10. I can't open open 888 from the taskbar. I can click on it all day long and nothing will happen.

Desktop shortcuts work. Pinning it to my start menu and opening it there works. But no dice from the taskbar. I've never seen another app with this issue.

I have a Windows 11 machine also, but I don't play poker on it so I'm not sure if I would have the same difficulty there or not. I may have to check that out sometime.

Thats interesting. I have been playing on 888 Poker since june 2019 with a few short breaks, and the problem has pretty much persisted all this time on at least two different laptops, which I have also used to run pokerstars and lately ACR. I suspect, that the crashes are caused by short fall-outs in my internet connection lasting maybe a second or two, which apparently the software is overly sensitive to.

The software of PokerStars usually manage to reconnect me, before my hands are folded, without crashing. But on 888 the lobby turns white, the program is not responding to any commands, and the only solution is to close it via task manager and then start it up again. After the restart often all the notes and tags will also have been deleted.

As I said, I have pretty much thrown in the towel and just accepted, that this is a quirk of 888 Poker, that I can either choose to live with or play somewhere else. Currently I am playing somewhere else, but this is not because of the software crashes. I am usually back after just 1-2 hands, so its not that big of a deal to me. I will also sometimes go to the toilet without waiting for the next break. So its only a real disaster, if it happen in the middle of a big pot, and I cant even remember, when is the last time, that was the case.

It hasn't happened to me, it has frozen but it's because of my old operating system, where what you say happened to me is at partypoker but it's because of what I say about my operating system, lately I can't have several rooms open anymore because my computer crashes

I've never had a game close unexpectedly on me before. That would be super annoying. I have been registered for a tournament and for whatever reason I was not seated and my name was no longer on the list. That was frustrating as well

I use their android app and it has been completely stable for me recently. I don't know about the PC software. It could be something to do with your device.
