full tilt rakeback question. I have had rakeback with full tilt for a while now with the assumption that it was CONTRIBUTED rake.....not DEALT rake. So here is my question. Maybe are my questions.......
1. I have HEM configured so that it calculates my rakeback at 27%. Does it know to do that by DEALT rake?
2. How do they decide how much rakeback you get based upon a number of hands? I'm guessing rake is determined by the fact that you were dealt into the hand....not just contributing to the pot.

3. If I am at a really loose table, will I recieve more rakeback?
4. Also, if I leave before I hit the sit out button, does full tilt let me save the hand history even though I wasnt at the table at the end of the hand? (I.e. if my rakeback is correct on HEM, will it be a little skewed since there have been so many hands where I left before hitting the sitout button?)
that is all....I kinda feel like a noob on this question.

well i know that full tilt points are from being dealt a hand but im not quite sure about rakeback. I think it is how much you contributed to the rake because if it were the other way you get rakeback for each hand then they would be losing money sometimes lol.

Rake contribution for Full Tilt rakeback is calculated using the Dealt method as follows:

Amount of rake / number of players who were dealt cards = rake taken from each player.

So in terms of Full Tilt rake back, if it's a 10 handed game and the rake for the pot is $3, each player is eligible for 30 cents for that pot.

1. I have HEM configured so that it calculates my rakeback at 27%. Does it know to do that by DEALT rake? Yes
2. How do they decide how much rakeback you get based upon a number of hands? I'm guessing rake is determined by the fact that you were dealt into the hand....not just contributing to the pot. The total rake collected for each hand is divided by the number of people dealt into the hand. The resulting number is the amount you are credited with paying in rake. You get 27% of this number as rakeback.

3. If I am at a really loose table, will I recieve more rakeback? If more rake is collected per hand than at a tight table, yes you will earn rb at a greater rate/hand.
This will skew your numbers slightly. If you want to make sure you get all the hands you were dealt into leave the table open (you can sit out or even go ahead and stand up just don't close the table) until the the next hand is dealt (the 1st one you're not dealt into).

To my knowledge, although there are several ways they calculate and accumulate Rake, there is only one type of Rake.

It is simply the money they make off of us.

I know in the SnGs and STHU games I play, I keep a running total of the Rake I pay because its a flat 7x multiplier to calculate my FTP points to make sure I meet whatever Iron Man requirements I have yet to fill.

It's a bit tougher to keep a running total of Rake paid at a cash table. Im sure its doable but I dont know of anyone doing it.

i thought rakeback was given back in considrration toi how much rake an individual contibutes. such as if u payed $10 in rake for 1 day, u would get back whatever percent RB is from that $10.

You're posting to a year old thread.

There are a few different methods used to collect/assign rake. FT used to be a dealt rake site, but a few months ago they switched to a contributed rake system like most other sites use.
