Interesting feature. Thanks for sharing the info. I actually self-excluded myself from FullTilt for 14 days (expired today) to try to be more productive and get some much needed work done. I had no idea there was an update and additional features!

Weak players likely chop it up,strong players probably play it out imo

Snow

^^ agreed!!!

Say no to the chop in the SNG and instead, pound away on the blinds of the player's who wanted a chop, lol.

The feature is available in a 9-plyr. SNG??? This seems hard to believe... hmm..
Seems it was a long time in coming for Fulltilt to add this feature to their site. I too have used it on other sites and thought it was pretty cool (even in a freeroll once, lol).

I tried to use this feature today to give it a go but I was second in chips when we were heads up. He thought it was confusing and didnt know how to give me the control (or he didnt want to). Ive read how it works so I was keen on splitting the first place $22 and 2nd place $12 in the Sng to 17 and 16 dollars repectively.

How do you convince a player its better to chop?

He was so confused he just pushed cancel and my KK got beat by his JQ first hand. Lucky Dumbazz-people should get a tutorial how to use it so the better players don't get screwed out of that extra 5 dollars (sounds arrogant but everybody knows when they can beat someone).

Do you guys think theres a point at which you just play for first because you're sooo far ahead like 3/4 of the chips? I think if I have a two to 1 lead or more Im gonna play for first.

I would never agree to 'chop' while HeadsUp in a 9-plyr. SNG. Always play for 1st imo. I'd consider chopping if it was a 45-plyr. SNG, headsup with very high blinds, or a large-field MTT,... other than that I'm just going to play it out.

They are trying to keep up with the PS deal feature. Played the 10c 1k guaranteed and made the final table finishing 5th but nobody wanted to deal. maybe its still too new at FT for the players.

It's good

It's ggod to make a deal cause you can earn more if you think you can't win the big money prize, but you look always for the first. It's hard but possible.

It's there on one table HU SnG's, believe it or not. LOL, I couldn't believe it when I saw it.

Sometimes it is good to make a deal when the blinds get too high compared to stack sizes. When this happens the skill level of each player is completely erased and the luck factor plays way too high of a role.

Yes,This is a great new feature. Have used it twice both times second in stack size. worked great. But everyone does not understand it yet.

I tried this last week when I got HU. I was better than the guy and we had pretty much equal stacks, but I wanted to see what it was like.

Because of a slight stack difference I think he got $.27 more than me, but it was still worth it to see what it was like.

I should have taken screen captures.

They add up the total prize pool, then divide it exactly by each person's chip count percentage. If you have 62% of the chips, you get 62% of the total prize pool added together.

this isn't entirely accurate. You have options for how you wish to chop it up (custom is available). Although I haven't been on a final table so I don't know about it 100% (and I'd never agree to chop in a SNG unless it was a 90+plyr.), I have watched a handful of final tables when they were pausing to make a deal. The typical chop is done via I.C.M. (which isn't exactly the same as 62% of chips = 62% of prizepool). Read up on ICM and you'll have a better understanding of how it's divided.

I've done this multiple times on full tilt and it's one of the many reasons why Full Tilt is my favorite poker room. For me it was a bit confusing at first to make a deal but I got used to it have 2 times. I like it alot I use it probably 30% of the time when I'm heads up in a sit and go. Awesome feature I LUV IT

Used this feature in a sit and go when there were 3 left. Pretty nice especially when they slit it based on chip sack sizes.

Tried to use it on final table of USA free roll no one agreed or even acknowledged it was there. Guess 6.5 hours wasn't long enough play for them. Course I'm not sure if everyone knows how it works.

I was not aware of this but I do like this option. Most of the time I prefer to play it out but I do sometimes like to chop - especially if I am tired or my kids are fighting or there are distractions. So I definitely like this option, for those that don't like it, that's pretty simple, don't agree to do a chop.
