I opened my Full Tilt account when Doyles Room first closed to US customers in '07 and one of their options was to transfer to Full Tilt. I've never made a withdrawal, so I haven't entered most of my information, including my country. So my country is hidden, but I play real money, so it is possible. Once I want to make a withdrawal, I'll enter it.

To the OP, you can ignore the chat of any individual at your table, or ignore all observer chat. Or, just don't talk back to anybody from your country who talks to you. It's not that difficult.

Why do I suspect the real reason is a desire to FRW the country specific tournaments? I mean, if you don't want to chat, don't chat?

I am exclusively a cash player. I don't have the patience to play tournaments.

I have put this question because I mainly play on ipoker and there you can hide your country. And I can't turn off the chat because people who chat usually are weak players who play only a table. So the chat gives me a clue that he is not a good player.
Eventually I replaced my country with an arabic one(it's impossible to find players who want to chat from those countries because they're not allowed to play poker) and when I will withdraw I will change it back.
