imo this tournament is great. usually pays out over 35% of the field, so really not that hard to place in the monies.

fokus2k3, you won this tourney? you won 1599 bucks? .....not saying i dont believe you lol..but...i dont believe you haha
Me either and it doesnt take 11 hours.

I tried it yesterday.
I guess rebuy is almoust inevitable cos there are many allins at the beginning.

I had tough luck. A lucky player defeated my JJ44 with his KKQQ, of course Q came at the river.

Big tourneys typically take 1 hour (approx) to cut the field in half. So 11 hours is not a number out of the blue. Many of us watched Monoxide last night get 4th place in a big game and he took 9 hours to do that. Under 2000 players started that one.

Think about the bigger tourneys you have played, and then think about how much time you put in before some external pressure started rearing its ugly head. For the big payoffs, it will take longer than you probably expect to finish.

Yea, the daily dollar is great... But it is a huge grind which usually doesn't pay out great. Although getting top 10 is a decent pay out that from what I hear will actually take around 6-9 hours.

Anyways, I still play them DAILY hence the name but my BR is going backwards from when I used to be making it big so I may just have to take a break.

Another thing for those of you with minimal bankrolls, try out the 50 ftp sng's for entry to the dollar game.

Well it is a grind yes but lets do the math shall we:
Top prize: $1599
Time: 11 hours
That means: You make just over $145 an hour.
Now that is a hell of a lot better than getting $7 at the day job.
And french Fries are optional. :D

Seriously it is a big grind but if you have the TIME to invest (and that is the big one) then do it because the return on your money is worth it.

See you at the felt.

The daily dollar can really spike a huge roi, my problem is I always get really bored in it b/c of the low stakes, long hours, and number of donks in it, but is a great tournament for people with small bankrolls a chance to get a large bankroll boost.

There are quite a few good players as well. and they start to show themselves after the first hour or so
Even though it is full of donks and lots of luck donk and otherwise I still say for the money it is worth it. Which is why it has so many players every day.
Just my .02
See you at the felt.

I agree.. Lots of loose donk play early... if you can stack up it's not that hard to make the cash (I have a few times)

ALSO, not sure if you are aware there is a 6:25 edt (registration opens at 5:45) freeroll that gives tickets to this torny. Interesting format where u start with 300 chips .. catch a hand or 2 early and u got a good shot to get a ticket.

Yeah I am aware of this tourny. Cheapest way in but you really need some luck on your side. After the first couple of levels you almost have to go all in if you haven't got a few chips otherwise the blinds will each you like a big nasty shark. It is like Free Lottery hehhe.
But hey that is the key word here FREE.
With a chance for so much more. And in my book that is good.
See you at the felt.

I also try to play it every night...except for me it starts at 2.15am :)

But it is such great value for money and I have cashed a few times - nothing huuuuge but its coming - that it is worth setting my alarm for.

i try to play this every night. can't beat the price. its about time tilt did something lkie this.

they have to keep up with stars somehow. this is a great start, a good way to get a small BR going, and maybe turn it in to something big.

The 1,000$ rebuy tourney really only pays 3 spots? that seems pretty impossible even tho it is 10cents to enter.

Yeah, you almost have to win that one....I got a FT in that on 10 cents also...5th place was $75. I mean a great return, but a lot of time for $75

Don't they have two Daily Dollars one a freezeout the other a rebuy? I have played the freezeout , and like the fact it is deep stacked. This gives me more play, and makes it a little easier to cash.

He played this tournament several times, the players are weak, get in the prizes is not difficult, if the card comes, but not without cost and fortunate fish, which in 72 moves you =)
