yay 100 points :D

Seemed like a lot at first but now I realize there isn't much you can do with 100 FTP.

It was a fun little experiment but i'm not sure if it was really worth the effort...

It is:

Use 20 FTP for the the 180 player sunday brawl qualifier or similar satellites.

1. gets 3.500 FTP worth buy in
2. 50
3. 30
4. 20 FTP

i like playing the 360 tourneys..ive noticed alot more donks play that tourney and its easier to get to the final table..all the smart/good players play the 180 sng and id rather play against donks :)

Every time i get into one of those tourneys the whole table goes all in. Can't count the number of times i had the best hand and lost. Hate them all.

Patience.

Wait a few minutes into the tourney, only play premium cards and hope.

Fold a lot.

Tag your targets (red,pink,blue whatever).

Take notes.

Watch every showdown.

Measure their range if they're shoving.

Take them out later.

Anyone shoving before the flop must be considered foolish.

Let them knock themselves out.

Take them out later. Half of the field will eliminate itself in no time.

You ought to call with AA,KK though.

Even if you call 5 all in bingos with AA you should have more than 50%

chance of winning and a 5:1 payout if you win.

I play these also and are fun. I have won several myself and unregister in the next round to use the points for other tourneys. Just a little patience gets you to the final table easily.

i have won my share of those tourneys (i think about 6-7 now) bIn my experience my best advice is to be patient and wait for the nuts. If you have to push all in with two picture cards and hope to win. If not wait 2 mins for the next one.

Yeah i reccomend unregistering from the second round unless you really want to play that, 100ftp in your account isn't too bad and you can do things with it in various tournaments.
I agree with this whole heartedly. I always unregister and play in the other FTP point games. I've won a few of those too. I went on quite a roll. So I just kept unregistering and eventually ended up with enough points for a couple baseball caps and a beanie. Of course with that many points you could also play in some FTP point games for other entrys too. Into decent size cash games or satallites into real good money tourneys. So depending on your point of view it may be worth it. I thought it was.

These are FANTASTIC games to play in, I play about 10 a day when I am free to do that. I seem to always make it to the final table and get 3rd place though. Thats how its been lately

I have played about 30 of these and won the ticket twice, and finished 3rd about 3-4 times, but I don't have the patience to play them anymore. 100 FTP points just isn't worth the effort IMO.

you guys brought back some good memories, use tp play them alot. looks like i'll have to take them up again.
and yes the 360 are good practice, but i usually don't waste my time anymore, this one doesn't make any sense anyway, higher count less payout.
and everyone knows it that's why they're harder to get into. :)

well they maybe not improve your skills but if you have no money that's a very good way to get some FTP to enter different tourney's

they are not so difficult I have won like 4 times in the 180 and 1 time in the 360 (now i don't remember why was i playing the 360 one lol) and i took the points every single time

by cashing the points you have the chance to play: 20FTP 180ppl (is not the one to play, yes if you win you get 2500 FTP but is only top 4 get paid, only the first one getting good points and is way too difficult to make it constantly); the 50 FTP (recommended cuz is 54ppl for a chance to make 2500 FTP, top2 get paid) or the 90ppl Sng for 90 FTP in which if you win you make $11 in tourney dollards if you unregister or the chance to play to midnight madness...

Of all the bad luck in the world I finished 3rd in a 180 tourney today. I was shortstackd when the final table started and never doubled up. Oh well better luck next (in 4 minutes) time

:(

It is "Announced" every time... Once it is "Registering", it gets full in 5 seconds. Basically you have to note the time it opens and just after exactly 3 minutes and 4 seconds the new one starts. Just after 3 minutes, keep your mouse-pointer on the place where the Register button appears, and keep hitting it until you are registered. Make sure you don't unregister accidentally. :D

Yep this is exactly right. You pretty much have to "stalk" them to get in them. The only thing I do disagree with is the five seconds. It's more like a split second. The only time you may have five whole seconds is at about Five o'clock in the morning. Good luck all.

The best way to get in to these freerolls is to continually click your mouse over the area where the register now button pops up. So when it does, you should get in.

I would just say that this is also the best way to unregister by accident. If you are not careful you'll unregister pretty easily. And that can be pretty irritating. You feel like you've lost without ever seeing a hand. SUCKS! Good thing they come up every three minutes. :D
