Okay, this is kinda similar to the Ferguson Satellite Freeroll:
  • Located under 'Play Money'
  • Reg begins @ 1940 ET
  • Game begins @ 2010 ET
  • Max Players = 2700
  • Places Paid = 3
  • Prize Pool = T$11 -- which can be used towards the Midnight Madness (Guaranteed Prize Pool = $20K with 306 places paid + Happy Hour FTPs).
This is a bit tougher than the Ferguson Satellite since only top 3 paid (vs 100 but T$ has ^^ value)...finished 17th/2700.

@ around 20 peeps left, $100K chips = short stack. Good arena to practice aggressiveness though.

2700 players and only 3 get paid? Might be good for practice but sounds like way too much of time investment for 3 places paid. Yet, there are 2700 players that probably sign up each night.

Agreed. I can find much better things to do with my time!

Its a crapshoot honestly, you're never close enough to the money to comfortably steal pots enough to develop a good stack. Luckfest imo.

I do too...I enjoy playing satellites.

Agree, only 0.11% (3/2700) paid = an entry to the Midnight Madness which paid 13.82% (351/2540) 01.24.10 with 1st = $4659.63, 2nd = $2860.04 & 3rd = $1871.98 (out of $25,400 prize pool). For comparative purposes, the $150 Freeroll pays top 0.60% (45/7500) with 1st = $18.

Also agree, this is a good arena for someone to learn &/or improve poker concepts (ie: aggressiveness, blind stealing, bluffing, etc...) w/o incurring a monetary cost to do so.

This was more of an FYI thread for the CC members who would like to play in the Midnight Madness & the buy in is outside his/her BRM threshold or for someone building a bankroll from zero or near zero. Yes, it appears there are 2700 peeps who register daily & 3/2700 win an entry daily.

It appears for some, the time-benefit is not worth it but for others it might be...depending on what he/she wants to accomplish. :)
