I have a pokerstsars account for 8 years and I have never had any problems, recently they asked me to verify it, I did what they asked and sent the documents, the next day I received an email that the account was verified but when I went to play the account was blocked. 2 months in this situation every day I send an email, lately they don't even respond and when they always answer the same answer that my case is under analysis and nothing is done, online chat always puts me in a queue that never comes my turn, I'm very upset about this situation. Has anyone here gone through this?

I had to verify my account as well after some inactivity for several months or even years.

I sent the documents as well and at first they needed some additional documents but after that it worked and I could use my account again.

Did they provide any information why you're under investigation? Usually it's just confirming your identity which should be straight forward.

These are the violations:

insults to other players:
fraudulent collusion with other players:
multi-accounting:
using programs for pokerstars that are prohibited by the room:
botting.PokerStars support service may not give an answer immediately, but within a few days, so please be patient. You must indicate the reason for the blocking.

As dreamer13 say, they subspect you for some kind of wrongdoing, so this is not just about a simple account verification. Its like being investigated by the police. Sending daily emails or trying to chat with the police, while they investigate you, wont help or make them conclude their investigation faster.

I had to verify my account too a couple of years ago. I sent the documents and they released my account in 1-2 days. It's weird that they are taking that much time to answer you, they usually have a fast support.

It happened with me some time ago, but for another reason, they asked to send the documents all digitized, and it would not take long for them to answer that it was verified and it was all right.

It can take some time to get your account verified. I had to verify my account twice because I was playing from germany and the first time it took a bit longer and the second time it was a bit faster but still not fast enough to my liking. But as was said before, daily writing doesn't help to make it faster. If you are sure that you haven't done anything wrong then it should really be done soon. They had said that it was only a general examination or not? It's annoying that you can't play in the meantime, but there isn't much you can do about it

Like I said already, this is not about account verification. PokerStars apparently suspect OP for some kind of offense, and as part one of their investigation they asked him to confirm his identity and adress. This was apparently done satisfactory, but it did not clear him of being suspected for, whatever he is suspected for. Could be multiaccounting, collusion with other players, use of illegal software, etc. It obviously suck to be suspected of cheating, if you dont think, you did anything wrong. But OP cant really do anything about it other than hope, it is eventually resolved, and maybe find a different site to play on in the meantime.
