I have the absolute opposite problem when I am on pokerstars is when I have problems with the client disconnecting

I don't think it's the ram, maybe it's a particular problem of my country connection that does not happen everywhere

Full Tilt seems to work fine for me... but i am also thinking about changing to poker stars because i feel like FT makes the user feel they can make stupid calls because of the avatars... i know this is a very strange rason but i honestly think that poker stars gives a more professional look to the poker site and will be better for me than Full tilt!!! However, full tilt has given me great support in my poker losing as of late lol! Does anyone else feel this way?

You can turn avatars off you know.

I was experiencing some brief disconnects myself recently on Fulltilt, after the last software update. It always reconnects again if you just sit & wait. Sure it can be frustrating when you're in a pot and on a monster hand (when this was happening the other day, I'll try to just get all the money into the pot so I don't lose it once I disconnect, lol).

It's not happening for me now anymore.... was just for a short while there recently.

I don't think 'wireless connection' has anything to do with poker site disconnects (not if you're connection is strong)... BUT.. I do know that some will run into difficulties with Pokerstars depending upon what type of wireless router you are using.

I like Full Tilt. Good technical support, a lot of people playing, there are almost no empty tables. My choice of FT

I had a that problem with Full Tilt a while back when I used to play there. The software would just freeze so I started playing at Titan which seemed fine. When I got my new PC I tried Full Tilt again and had no problems. Not sure if they had updated a glitch in the year inbetween or whether it was just my PC

FT is much worse with disconnect on their end than is PS...It is not you it is their software and network servers.

only happend 2 me once was well pissed of when it did
i was in a 6dollar sitngo 2 away from cash and dissconected me when i managed to get reconnected i had like 1 bb left wasnt very happy at all lol

Just today i was on the bubble of a sitngo, facing a push from the smallest stack, i had 88 and the program freezes. When i recconected 10 min!!! after that i was out of the tournament and lost my buy-in.

Don't know what happened on that hand.

No more chances for Full Tilt i'm getting my money out of this stupid site!!

ouch. I've never disconnected *knock on wood* from full tilt. Is this a problem that ALOT of people are having or a select few? either way i wouldnt be happy either if it was happening to me.

Full tilt has been having a lot of problems after all THE UPDATES!! this is insane how many updates there is... I disconnect all the time and tilt always freezes.. The program is crap now, I switched over to bigbet.com and carbon poker, I play at fulltiltpoker when i have something schedualed there.. Other than that i dont play there..

Yeah FT has bad time nowadays.
I can login only if I click on the place where the OK button used to be (I cant see it for a few days).
Updates after updates every day but the problems are the same.

Tho after login I can play without problem...so far.

i blame it on some one messing around with there modem or router, i once heard about a kid that had some kind of setup with 2 connectors running to his modem and was able to mess with speed and disconnection, so lame but i got that to at ft once i had pocket aa and it disconnected and then it skips me without even giving me a chance to bet

i'd say the problem is more than likely on your end, with your provider or laptops modem, ive never been shut out i have a cable provider for internet

I'm still more suspicious of my wireless.

I have never had many problems with disconnecting from Full Tilt, or any site for that matter. I also had almost no problems at all with all these updates lately.

But, would like to say that FT went live with their Beta software WAY WAY too early and it still has bugs in it. People complaining about even more updates happening should stop. Without more updates none of these bugs in the new software will be fixed. Im sure not enough ppl were using the Beta, to really find all the bugs in the software. This is the reason we keep getting updates, AND it is a GOOD thing.

Of course I am going to complain to FT that they released their Beta software to the public way to early.

*Also, leaving a site you have played at for a while and/or like because their new updated software is messing up just seems strange to me. Their aren't that many good sites IMO, if you don't like the bugs and the updates everyday, don't play for a week maybe two. Im sure by then most if not all the bugs will be fixed.

I've been trying for a week now to get FT working since the updates - FT support keeps sending me the same reply..turn off firewalls delete this delete that HKEY this HKEY that...I removed it now it won't download period...incompatible win32 App, IE errors etc...I've been trying on both my old XP puter and my new Vista puter to no avail.
