Fulltilt was my favourite poker site.Sorry for its stopping.

Oh yeah! Mine too. I miss him, and now there really is no point in playing there, because now it's pokerstars. In general, why did they change the software fulltilt? And why did PokerStars need to buy FullTilt? Maybe because there are players who do not want to play in a program called pokerstars?

I remember before Full Tilt Poker was a good site coin free rolls decent promotions and its own brand site. If i did a poll on cardchat forum is Amaya Corporation good for Poker Players the result would be ninety percent no.

One of the main competitors to pokerstars was fulltilt, pokerstars bought that poker room and now there is no difference whether you play pokerstars or fulltilt. The same tournaments, the same cash tables, everything so i think this is now the same poker room...
They are.

Right before merging of fulltiltpoker and Stars The Deal was amazing on FullTilt. Always 50-95 dollars everytime easily. This is back when it was just Stars owned but was still it's own room and dying fast.

Now on Stars most of my deal winnings are 6-25 dollars.

Used to love FTP, to me it was far better than PS but as soon as they merged FTP was finished and that is sad.
I am finding it hard to find a site I like, compared to 10 years ago they are all rubbish, specially PS.

You should look up some of the 2009 FullTilt nosebleed cashgames. Those were the GOAT :)

Jennifer Tilly just posted about this saying RIP TO FULL TILT but looking at the recent comments I can see that it's still operating

I was hoping they would sell their software to one of the technology challenged sites.

I think FullTiltPoker gradually disappearing, lack of promotions and own indentity is making increasingly disappearing fence, but pokerstars is their support is only a matter of time to disappear completely

All I know is they disappeared with my money.

Makes a lot of sense. Its more surpricing, that it took 10 years for PokerStars to come to this obvious conclusion and merge the player pools :)

I was never a fan of full tilt I had pretty much all the poker rooms before black friday and it was one of my least favourite. I remember their freerolls that seemed to just go on for ever. I would get bored very quickly with it. I still wonder how pokerstars managed to get off lightly after black friday while some other operators were shut down.

To answer your last sentence... Isai Scheinberg (the original owner of poker stars) was an honest guy in a very DIShonest poker world...

The best read I've ever made in poker was deciding to move my entire bankroll over to Poker Stars shortly before Black Friday happened here in America (April 15, 2011 the day of infamy)... after the US Government took away our freedom, Poker Stars returned my bankroll in full within just a few days.

Poker Stars was honest, they weren't stealing player funds like all the other sites were doing back then. Poker Stars actually kept the players funds entirely separate from their operating funds. Full Tilt Poker was the exact opposite, they pooled all the funds into one big "slush fund" and their paid professionals were literally taking as much as possible from that slush fund... so when Black Friday hit, they didn't have anywhere near enough funds to pay all their players back... and we all know what happened from that point forward. Once again, it was Poker Stars who "rescued" all those Full Tilt players who essentially had their money stolen from them by all those Full Tilt clowns like Bitar, Lederer, Ferguson, Gordon, Bloch, Flack, Ivey, Cunningham, Lindgren etc. (apologies if I've forgotten any of the other names, there were plenty of them).

I won't even get into the astonishing story of Absolute Poker/Ultimate Bet... Haley Hintze is your person if you wish to read about that insanity which was even worse than just stealing from the player's funds, it was outright cheating them at the tables...

Bottom line, Stars was honest, nobody else was. Today? Who knows. Isai Scheinberg is long gone, but he's still a hero in my book. Happy he finally settled with the crooked US government so he can go enjoy his billions in peace. :)
