Hi All

I have an irritating issue with pokerstars where if listening to your computer with bluetooth headphones and they turn off for any reason the Pokerstars client goes silent until you restart it which is difficult while playing.

I don't know if this is just certain headphones. If I turn them off and on for instance I will lose sound with Pokerstars but with nothing else making me think this is a bug in their software.

I went to a live game and a couple of other people had the same issue.

I have reported it to Stars and got a response I was not really sure off indicating they may send it to their new features section but did not seem to count it as a fault.

Would be interested to know if others experience this and if you have the time it would be good to let Stars know too.

Catch you at the tables :)

Pokerstars have to change output, it Will assume you Bluetooth connection is working, so try and disable Bluetooth for a While when this happends.

The problem is you lose sound from all devices so I cannot then hear it through my headphones or computer speakers until restarting the client.

Noticed experimenting can get sound back closing a table and reopening it rather than the whole client. This is the only client i have the problem with (GG and 888 are fine). It seems to disappear as an App in the volume mixer settings. It did not use to be this way.

I think it has to do if you are using WIFI or direct connect, I do find if I try to use bluetooth when I am playing poker it somehow causes frequent disconnection. Was told I am crazy that's not possible but I beg to differ.

I do not get disconnects when this bluetooth issue occurs and it only occurs if I turn off the headphones once connected with them other its fine. Once I turn off the headset or battery goes dead there is no way to redirect the sound output out the speakers without reopening the table.

This thread may be a bit old... but assuming you are in a tournament... the solution is indeed to "Leave Now" the table you are on by closing the window... and then immediately retake your seat from the tournament lobby. It should not be necessary to restart the entire client.
