Hi all,
After the last week i've decided to quit the Noble poker room,no i'm not quitting poker just the Noble site, this is a personal decision based on an unresolved matter which I beleive to be a software problem.
Anyway i'm looking for a new poker room to take the place of Noble so it's going to be hard to find a replacement, I believe i'm joined to most that have been mentioned here at cardschat ( and then some ).
Nick I know you was looking for some decent depositing referrals so if you have a real good poker room that you know of ( and I don't ) IM me and I'll join using your link.
I'm looking for a poker room similar to Noble or Pacific with plenty of choice sit-n-go's as well as some big prize money multi-tables. You won't get much in the way of rake from me although I do occasionally sit at a ring game if i'm waiting on tourney, I suppose this can add up.
Appreciate the feedback and there are going to be a lot who post here and i'll already be a member, sorry for that but if someone does come up with a decent one and i'm not a member I will join using your link, no worries. Please only post ones which you have cashed out at before, and I'll only use neteller so poker rooms which don't except neteller are out for me, sorry.
Good luck :)

Well full tilt fits those critirea and they have INCREDIBILY fast Neteller cashouts. Mine hit in less than 10 minutes! Their SNG's are pretty good for a smaller site and the players there absolutely SUCK! I have read elsewhere the players are supposed to be good I think they are just plain maniacs! The bonus is a bitch to clear and I had a horrendous streak of big pot bad beats but still hard to not recommend them. OH and you can 25 no deposit at empire through cardschat now. Just send Nick a message about how.

I have an account in BetFred which is very similiar to Noble, in fact I think they´re of the same company but I don´t know if they have Neteller. You should check it out...

I would suggest anywhere but Absolute!!! (personal vandetta) I've had so many problems with them I don't know where to begin. The only nice thing I can say about them is that they have the most freerolls out of anyone I've used, which is the reason I haven't ditched their software yet.

As per Anairda, Betfred uses same ipoker software as Noble - has same sit and go tables, but has good daily freerolls (unlike Noble). I played yesterday for first time, and didn't have any of the freezeout/dropped connection problems i had with Noble. One thing though, they ask question "are you US resident" (i'm not), so you may be ineligible if you are.

Would have to recommend FullTilt as well. Crazy bonus to clear, but sounds like you play enough that you could do it. It's worth it then. They have the best interface I've played, and plenty of new people coming in to keep the player pool easy. Another site you might want to check out is bodog, easier bonus, lots of fish.

About betfred???

Hi all,
Thanks for the replies, ok i'm more than a little interested in betfred, I'm a little wary of it being the same software as Noble as I could end up with the same problem although its very possible it's just the Noble skin i'm having trouble with.
Ok a couple of questions regarding betfred, i've just visited the place and it's UK based, someone mentioned that you have to be a US resident?? Why is that? I noticed stephen hendry plays there ( i would love to kick his arse/ass )
They do take neteller so that part is ok so if I can find out about the UK/US part i'll be willing to give this place a go if someone wants to IM me their affiliate link, if not someone can refer me as a friend if they have some kind of bonus there for that.
Pop back later, good luck :)

Thanks again :)

Hi all,
Thanks again for the replies, the only one which I wasn't a member of was the betfred which i've now joined, the problem I had was to do with the software and betfred confirmed that there is a connection problem with "Curacao" which I assume to be either the software makers or the host which could have been causing at least some of the problems I was having, they also mentioned that they are obviously aware of the problems it's causing and have had their tech department working with "Curacao" on this and there will be another upgrade shortly. Kind of bothered me that Noble must have known about the same problem but played dumb with me.
Anyway i've registered for the $200 freeroll tonight at betfred just to try the software out and i'll let you know how it goes, I think their customer support is very good and they also have more freerolls which is pretty cool. Anyone playing at the freeroll in a bit will notice that my username has changed to Webmaster1 as it wouldn't let me use Thewebmaster as it's on the same network as Noble, apparently this is ok but you just can't use the same username.
Well that's it for now, I'll let you all know tomorrow if i'm happy with my new move.
Good luck :)
Tony ( The Webmaster )
P.S. I'm still on the lookout for about another 3 decent poker rooms so keep posting please, the really good poker rooms are in short supply.

same problems:(

Hi all,
I played the freeroll last night and I like the site,I did get the same problems as at Noble which just confirms that it is a software issue although it doesn't seem to effect everyone. I left out around 219 and i've decided to keep both poker rooms on my desktop for now, i'll try again in a few weeks to see if it's any better, until then i'll probably just play the odd freeroll there.
Well that's it for now, good luck all :)

My choice has always been UB. Never had any problems there with money and they get right back to you if you have any problems. Plus they have a nice seletion of games going on.

Latest Update on Noble:)

Hi all,
It wouldn't be fair to Noble if I didn't write this update. Well it appears that I have been compensated somewhat for the trouble I had regarding Noble software and was also offered an entry to a new $500 freeroll because of the trouble i'd been experiencing, I must have been the first person they sent the password to as I was the only one registered.
Also they informed me about what Anairda just posted about this new upgrade which is quite major, i'm actually doing the upgrade now as i'm writing this update.
I really don't beleive my complaint had anything to do with the upgrade as I beleive they've been working on this for sometime but it's probably due to similar complaints to mine. After the last couple of emails from Noble and the trouble they've gone to help me in the last couple of emails I have decided to give it another go, i've always favoured Noble as I know most players here do which is why we have a freeroll from Nick so i'm hoping that this latest upgrade sorts out any problems.
I'm also staying with betfred as they have the same upgrade too so hopefully i'll have two great poker rooms instead of the one.
Well my upgrade is complete so i'm going to try them out and see how it goes, good luck all and thanks for all the replies to my initial post, appreciate them all :)

Just tried the new Noble

Hi all,
Well it took a while but I eventually upgraded the software and I played the freeroll just to see how it went. Although I prefer the older look this new upgraded Noble didn't have any of the previous problems I was getting, no disconnects and much faster than the old software so looks like i'll be staying with Noble after all.
I did see another bigger prize on offer there, win 7 sit-n-go's in a row and win a million? Have to check that out, probably $1000 buy in,lol.
Damn I couldn't even win the 5 sit-n-go's in a row for 18K, ain't gonna stop me trying though:)
Good luck all,

apparently more freerolls

Hi all,
Yes the freeroll is open to all I think, I think they sent me the password first to make sure I got in,lol. Never been the first one in a freeroll.
Anyway for those who didnt get this mornings update from Noble their running a $1000 freeroll every day for a week as long as you've been dealt 20 hands in the previous 24hrs, think that's right. Also other freerolls too but haven't checked on them.
Nick is there a cardschat freeroll this week on the new software, hope so. Is it just me or does this new software deal worse cards than the old one ( just kidding ).
Good luck :)

try stars and/or paradise. the best selection of tourneys and cash games, fast deposits/withdrawals, exc. customer support, fast server, best software in industry, etc etc
whats not to like? :)
unlike all the poker joker micro sites out there, stars and paradise are the two oldest, most established poker sites.

t1riel,

E-mail support and have them send you the setup.exe to your E-mail address.

They had done that for me when I was having problems with the update before this. It didn't help at the time since Noble would just lock up every time I tried to run the room.

But, this time it worked and noble seems to be running ok thankfully.

Well, other than the fact I got crappy cards in the tournament I played yesterday and finally went all in and lost because I couldn't even pick up a pair.

That reminds me I need to do that for CD poker as well. I can't download using their link on the webpage either for CD poker.

nobles problems

I've had problems with nobles but not downloading it.

I deposited £10 and through playing the freerolls and some $1 and $2 tables I've built up to about £80. I tried to withdraw £50 but they said when you deposit you get a bonus and I couldnt withdraw any money till I had played so many raked hands.

Even if I withdrew £50 it wouldn't affect the bonus money as I was still would have had £30 left. They said I had to play 20 raked hands at least 25c/50c tables. I did this and they still wouldnt let me withdraw.

Anybody else had any problems withdrawing money from them.

Also when I tried to withdraw I first tried wire transfer which goes directly to your bank but the minimum withdrawal by Wire on their is £500 which seems a lot. On other sites I've played I've drawn as little as $20 with no problems.

Only way it would let me withdraw was bank draft. Ive had a bank draft before from a different site (Ultimate) and when you get it in the mail the bank charges £5 for the privilege of putting it in your bank maybe because Im from the UK.

May have to get a netteller account but not sure how to get one. DO Netteller charge for tranferring money there and then transferring it to your debit cards.

Any advice appreciated

Katy :)

Noble has a great amount of freerolls and I find that the player quality is better than sites like Party

I've played PokerChamps for a long time now, an never had problems with them. They have many real Freerolls (no requirements at all). Try it out...
