Here is some more information about the Master level structure $0.22 of every buy in is added to the prize pool $0.03 of every buy in is retained by poker stars. If a thousand people play a masters tournament poker stars will make $10 profit after the $20 added. I think it is a bad move and they will lose more players with the new changes.

I see that for the master league every buy-in is added to the prizepool , at least they don't keep it

I didn't like the spin and goes tickets prizes at all ,, now that they made it T$ it's better , give T$ to play more games .
I would prefer them to have kept the old league format , but instead of giving real money, to give T$ like they do now and also at the elementary the first prize to be split , not half prize to the first (if they offered T$ to many freerolls that they used to do , for ex the astronomer weekly round 2 or the 1000k privelege , it would be better and these freerolls would still be offered ) .
I guess they didn't have many recreational players , not a great number of players playing these games the last months (I have noticed this especially for the elementary) , and I believe many winners weren't re-investing the pokermoney back to poker , instead they kept it , that was bad example (I am sure this was happening at the masters league as well) .

The poker school concept is a good one but at PS it has metamorphosed from a butterfly to a stink bug. I played this new incarnation today and made it effortlessly into the 'teens and then decided to just get out of the game. There has to be something that motivates you to play and unfortunately I felt like I was just wasting my time there rather than working towards something.
Time permitting, I'll make more of an effort to play the CC free rolls where there are some pretty sharp players and the table tuition is affordable.

pokerstars already had your days of glory. If you observe, bit by bit, the game is going in another direction, decreasing guaranteed tournaments and directing users who play poker to sports betting.

personally, i never won money at leaderboard this year, i only won cents in some games but the format of divisions was interesting, so it was not profitable for me but it was funny to compete. at least $T money prizes are better than winning a couple of cents and they raised the starting chips to 3000. so,i would give it try.
pd: i'm tired to see that garbage of Spin & Goal freerolls on the lobby, lol.

i played in some of the school pass events but with rebuys and late registration they take forever--i played over 3 hours last nite to win a 25 cent spin and go ticket--i had the time becuz i was watching wsop at same time--but cmon some of us have jobs and dont have that large of block of time

PokerStars New League Setup Disappointing
I may be the only pokerstars online school member to feel this disappointment.
With PokerStars being one of the largest money making online pokersites why would they need to make a money grab of $0.25 cents to enter the online poker Schools Masters Tournaments which I assume is still a "learning curve step in how to play online poker????
Is it petty of me or petty of them???
I for one will not play in The League Master Tournaments on PokerStars. I'll be curious to see if this will drop the entries into these Master Tournaments.

A week has passed since the renewal of the League! Have you noticed how few players in school tournaments have become? If before the Elementari was registered 10 000 (more often 6000-7000), now only 2,000 or 3,000 people register for the entry level tournaments of the school! How quickly the number of players fell! And for tournaments of masters, which in a new way replace the three levels of the old League, where in total there were about 8000 players together, now only 1000-2000 !!! Poker Stars does not care how the players disappeared?

Welcome to the forum. Click more at the bottom right hand in the lobby then click school then click the link could you be our next jackpot winner and login with user I.D. and password.

but there's no such link.
Maybe because its a dutch version.
There's an area to 'change' my 'pokerschool-password'..
Which doesn't change anything on the screen when applied.
On top there are 4 thumbs: all link to pokerstars-school website.
If I try to login, nothing changes on screen or no other usefull links appear. Just the info/about-pages..
