For any Canadians on the Cardschat forum there's been some tournaments being held on Titan (by Titan) that are special games that are limited to just 'Canadians'. They were running for the past couple of weeks & the site (Titan) adds $'s to the prizepools (ie. a $3rebuy with $100 added called 'Canucks'r'Us'). There's still one of these scheduled for this next week (May4 20:30est - 'or' GMT> 01:30 May5th).
Titan also has some other special tournaments coming up for the month of May, called LATAM. There are 4 of them in total, one per week. You can buyin to them with either $'s or player pts. (tp). Tonight's just started 2mins. ago & was a $3rebuy, $500guar. prizepool that you could also buyin to for 50tp. The next ones are as follows: (all times are listed in EST)
$750-LATAM $5+.50 or 100tp (rebuy) Mon. May 9th 20:30 (est)
$1,250 - LATAM $10+1 or 250tp (rebuy) Tues. May 17th 20:30 (est) {I think this one is $1,250 'added', whereas the first two are 'guarantees'.. but I could be wrong, just looks this way so far in the lobby}
$2,500 - LATAM $20+2 or 500tp (rebuy) Wed. May 26th 20:30 {again this one looks like it's $2,500added to the prizepool}
Hopefully this week's 'Canucks 'r Us' tourney will fly. I think the most that have signed up to it so far is 4 entrants. Seems like a shame with there being $100added by the site (Titan).
