Good morning friends.
I would like to know if anyone has played this tournament before. I won some places in the PS freeroll and I have a place in a tournament with direct entry to the BSOP. As I am starting out, I would like to know if anyone knows if it is possible to exchange the ticket for cash or if it is worth following this step further. There are 22 entries and 15 places for the São Paulo tournament.
What is the best alternative? Does the PS really pay for that?

Hey Brucce! How are you doing?
You can't exchange the tickets for cash. Some poker rooms allow you to unregister and take some sort of Tournament Money (money that you can only use to register at tournaments, you can't cashout). But I believe that pokerstars now forces you to play the target tournament. Of course, if you win a seat multiple times, I believe they will credit you with T$.

If you win the seat for BSOP, make sure you are able to be present in the event, because PokerStars will probably not allow you to unregister and take tournament money. You can find more information in this PS help article.
