Bodog/Bovada 100K Tourny - Advice/Suggestions?

Cardschat also has a weekly buyin tourny on bovada, there are requirements to gain access to the password but much less than the freeroll club. It's a 5.50 tourny, and it rotates on a biweekly basis where 1 week is 100$ added to the pricepool i do believe, and the next week it is 100k tourny ticket added so first place wins a ticket to the 100k. This would be where I gained my ticket.

So best value/chances probably the cc buyin game IMO because you don't have to trudge your way through a bunch of levels to win a ticket, just win first in a 5$ game, win cash by doing so and the ticket is a huge bonus compliments of cc (only the greatest forum there is )

Yeah, I can't say much on 2p2 as I'm not a member (or don't think I am lol), however after being part of this community I don't know if I would find what we have here anywhere else, just from some threads I have read on others. We still get a few drama queens, but if they don't keep it to at least a sensible drama level they would probably be warened of the hammer if deemed necessary and smacked with it if they don't list lol.

Yup you can create a rail thread, trying to think on which subforum it goes into of hand but I guess maybe the tournament poker would be the place for it (https://www.cardschat.com/forum/tournament-poker-59/) as that would get the most views by those who are more on the tourny side and of course would draw reg attention anyhow I'm sure. This would be if you were to do a rail where you post updates on the progress of the tournament and hands or spots for analysis that you might have comes accross in the tourny etc.

We then have the brags beats and challenges where you will find a lot of people working on challenges for themeselves like building a br from nothing, or 50 - 500 etc. Usually a spot I like to watch, as you will also get members posting in there of brags on big wins, or personal accomplishments of 1st final table etc. https://www.cardschat.com/forum/poker-goals-challenges-wins-46/

Thanks Kid, i knew someone would correct me if I was wrong . Thought was somewhere specific for them, but only times I really followed a rail thread it was for a stake and thus was in the staking forum, so figured perhaps a rail for the tourny would go in tourny forum. I should have looked around more first, although I'm sure a freindly neiborhood mod would take care of a thread in the wrong place.

I may still participate but it depends how i feel tomorrow, had acl surgery yesterday and the pain killers make me too drowsy and obviously cant play like that but hopefully i can still make it tomorrow

Going to skip this again today, kinda feeling like crap and playing a shitty game so far in the number of freerolls i have been playing, so obv be best asving for another sunday.

I think the lock software has me a little tilted, I don't know if maybe its my computer but is it ever lagging to crap today lol. Obv with the 10k freeroll its the highest numbers they have had on the software to this point.

Busted just before the first break. Ran into a couple of weak trips vs full house situations in which I pot-controlled and lost, then 3bet shoved AQs for 30bb before the break to pick up some fold equity, but had 3 callers. The chipleader took two of us down with KK. I potentially had 12 outs on the turn but spiked a Q on the river instead of a club or an ace.

What is the cheapest way to satty into the $100k?

the easiest/ cheapest is the 50 seat guarantee for $18+1.80.. Goes for two hours exactly. And starts two hours before tourney. There has been 57-67 seats given away in this.

Once in the tourney I simply try to get to any money since I am in for only $20 bucks last place pays $300+. I actually cashed for $515 the last time I played , I think that was 43 out of 1100.

I played the Nov. 10 event. 239th out of 1000+ entrants . Lost 2 coin flips late but played too much like a frightened bunny at times.

On the plus side, I just found out I won a $2000 hockey package in the canada game promo !!! . It's here in Vancouver so no travelling needed.
My luck at this site is staggering.

On the plus side, I just found out I won a $2000 hockey package in the Canada game promo !!! . It's here in Vancouver so no travelling needed.

I actually meant to play in the 100k as well the weekend but i already had so many games going that I lost track of time and saw on my computer that it was like 4:45 ( I know they have late reg but I don't really want to get in that late). I really need to figure out when I'm going to play this and put myself about fifty reminders lol.

I figure I'll just keep em in here, playing a few tournies so probably won't be a super amount of updates but will deff indicate if any big hands occur hopefully in my favor

haha yeah that would be a great idea and given 1st is 24k at the moment it would certainly be possible, however only problem is in this town if the power is gone accross the board usually a good chance even if I had a generator the internet would then be out lol.
