The wife and I along with a few friends are heading to Biloxi next month. Any suggestions for a Saturday tournament there? I'm looking for something around $50 or so entry (plus rake).

A bit of poker background on me...I'm currently playing the micros MTT S&G's on poker stars. Doing ok so far with a 1st place finish on the 360 player one and won another 45 player one. Those were a couple of weeks ago. I seem to do better in the 45 player tourneys but I think that has more to do with the fact that they're not turbos which give me a bit more time to think about what I'm doing and can go deeper and cash in more often.

Before playing for $$ online, I also played another online HE game...Mod's if this isn't allowed, please delete this part....DD Poker. Basically it's for fun but setup in a similar way way to MTT tournament style which I've played for a few years. There, the people actually played proper poker. Which is why I've seemed to settle into MTT S&G's. It just seems natural for me.

Anywhoo...if anyone has suggestions or experiences, I'd love to hear from them.

The Beau Rivage is a very nice casino owned by MGM down there, but I think that their tourneys start at around $100+$20. Sorry I couldn't help you out much more, but I definitely recommend some casual gambling at such a nice casino! Good luck, and let us know how it went!
