Deposited $70 there last week to play poker. They took the deposit, but then would not allow me to transfer it to the poker room to start playing due to "technical difficulties". I'm still unable to transfer and their online "Help" desk says they have no idea when it will be fixed. So today, I decide to withdraw the money. However, site has no "button" to do this. I go back to online chat and they tell me they won't process the withdrawal unless it's at least $100. They say...."why don't you see if you can double it"? I remind them that I cannot transfer it to the poker room. They say ....oh yeah, you're right. They suggest I bet on horses or something else.

What a rip off......stay away from these jerks!!

Wow that's crazy. I have never had that problem there. I havn't played there for about 5 months. Last time I played, I deposited 50 and cashed out 13 thousand. I had an amazing run, started out betting 3 dollars a hand, was getting splits and double downs everyhand and didn't miss anything. Got up a little bit and started going on a tear, couldn't lose in anygame I played. Mostly all casino winnings. I never had any problems tranferring money from one account to the other. I requested a withdrawal on Monday I think and got the money western unioned to me on wednesday. Withdrawals are ridiculously expensive though, almost 300 to withdrawal 13K

I can't find the email. It could also have been a news feed on Pokerscout. Not trying to be misleading or confusing. I barely played there and kinda just assumed that my $100 deposit was lost when I ran into that information.

This isn't the email or article I got but it might shed some light on the situation.

Stay Away from Betonline!

I deposited money about a week ago, but have been unable to transfer it from Sports to Poker, so I can't play poker. Now I see that this is a common problem. Customer service is a joke, canned responses, very vague with no substance. In addition, poker traffic is extremely low. You don't have to be an Einstein to understand why! Hopefully I will recover my deposit (less the massive payout fees), but I'm not counting on it. Please spread the word, "stay away from Betonline!".
