Is one better than two - PokerStars and Full Tilt??

According to this article (and many other on the net) the merge date was to be April 1st

I did post on here earlier but I seem to be having probs with my tablet device.
The date change is ok by me. And besides, its the same for everyone.

The merge is scheduled for May 17.

I don't know how it will work exactly; but I expect a lot of bugs in the early stages.

my main room was fulltilt.
I didn't like pokerstars that much.
bad move on pokerstars part. give me back fulltilt plate forum.

I think pokerstars is better than others. Maybe I used to play on Pokerstars, but it seems like that. Once I installed 888 poker my mobile device, but couldn't find any freeroll tournaments.

If it had not deal jackpot no difference between them. Full Tilt has died, and now there is only PokerStars.

I think, with that policy in 3-5 years PokerStars will be worse than FullTilt now: about 10k players, no freerolls at all, only paid hyper and all-in shootouts. They do all for it.

I do not think it's possible. Pokerstars is monopolist, it has no equal, and are unlikely to be in the next 5 years.

The sad part is they are ignoring their roots.
All the promotions are for casino games or sports betting.
The former two biggest online poker sites are being merged in to a subsidiary of BetStars.
Clearly they believe there is more profit to be made from gambling.

But it also plays in to the hands of legislators who regulate gambling.
And diminishes the arguments that poker is akin to a sport and involves skills.
