So, another play money thread. I've posted in several others about my experience with play money poker. To those who say don't bother with play money poker...to each his own. My play money
poker stars experience laid the basis for my real money success. I was able to build a 10 mil play money
bankroll when I started playing ABC poker with plenty of patience. One can learn some good traits to carry over to real money play. I did, and I would find it hard to believe I'm the only one. As with most things in life, attitude plays a big part. The fish, donks, bad beats, and bad variance provide a good training ground for dealing with the landmines of real money poker. I wouldn't trade the experience for anything. I continue to use the Poker Stars play money tables to work on leaks and to help with my lack of patience at times. I'm also ready to tackle PLO on the play money tables now. Hoping to pick up some tools to use when transitioning to real money PLO. Mercy!
